    Huhuhan,

This is a good question. I have heard people have success with this and I have also heard that it is not a good strategy. On the one hand, each blog is an opportunity to catch traffic and drive it to your main site and these blogs would also count as backlinks to your main site.

On the other hand, these are all properties that you would have to maintain and if you don't make them that good, the links won't count for much. One good backlink from an authoritative blog is way better than 50 backlinks from brand new blogs with no authority. You will also have to do a lot of work to get all those new blogs to rank well in order to get any decent traffic from them.

In my opinion, it would be better to spend your time ranking your main site instead of creating a ton of new blogs to link back to it.

While not completely relevant to your situation, this post has some good points about have multiple websites,

If you do end up linking all those blogs back to your main site, be sure that you vary your anchor text a bit and don't build your backlinks too fast.

    Best,

    Shawn
