If I hire a content writer, will they steal my idea?

Im going to be creating a niche affiliate site, and I am looking to hire a writer/copywriter to write the blog posts for it. The only thing that I am worried about is the writer taking my niche site idea and using it themselves.

Even if I don't tell them what product they are writing the blog posts for, and only get them to write generic content that I can then take and edit myself, they can still google the wording and work out what they have written it for.

What's stopping your writer from stealing your idea for themselves?? Its obviously not too much of concern for others because people still get hired to write blog posts, so why does this not worry niche affiliate owners who do this??

Look most of the professional writers dont get enought time to check where their writing is using so there is no way that they can steal your idea.
To make something you must need to hire someone.

As a writer, trust me dude.

No one is going to try to steal the idea you are making. Think of writers as someone who is skilled in creating the content. But do they know how to make a sale? Does this person who writes for you know how to convert to a sale?

The chances of this happening is rare. 0.0001%. Writers aren't going to steal your idea man. And even if they did, its not like they would have the skill in making your niche into a sale.

With that thought in mind + a contract. There is no way a writer can go against you.

    Hope this helps!

Writers are typically good at writing and want to do that. The idea of building websites and dealing with SEO and social media advertising isn't overly attractive.

Generally fear about someone, somewhere, sometime stealing your idea is exaggerated.

I think you are over thinking of this already. In a very rare case, a GOOD writer may steal your concept and build himself a website but consider the reality, most Good writers just concentrate their own things, because if he got the Internet marketing mind of himself, why he got enough time to write articles for others for penny?!

Still, there are some ways to eliminate this possibility:

    1) choose a good professional platform like upworks rather than iwriter or such shit places

    2) choose a writer with very good reviews, because if he got enough orders, he have no time build site

    3) choose a female writer, no offense but female tend to do more grinding work than men

    4) maybe stop build site lol

Ideas are worth nothing without execution.

Your writer would have to do a lot more than just "steal your idea" to make it useful/profitable.

I doubt that your idea is the next Youtube or Twitter, so whatever it is, I'm sure there's someone also already doing it, or if not, then chances are it's a waste of time.

I do content writing for people because it helps fund my PayPal balance to purchase domains for PBN sites, pay for hosting, etc. So I CAN make an amazon site about their product, but I tend to not to, as I don't really know if they are targeting a low competition or keyword or a high competition one, I just ignore their keywords and write content for them. It's not worth the risk of losing a well-paying client who orders content regularly, just to create a site that may not even turn out to be profitable.

    You get it man.

As content writers we're already hit with the big Copyscape app before our writing is even published.

The IM world is a court where passing the ball is better than stealing it from others.

It depends, generally if you hire a professional who gets most of his earnings from writing you won't have problems since he or she will be focused in his career as a writer.

Besides, do your writers have the skills needed to replicate your method? If not, I wouldn't bother.

That is why I suggest hiring from an established writing service, and not an individual. Regardless, it rarely happens unless you have a very very good idea. But then you also have to think, is this easy to reproduce? If so, yeah I would be worried. But many people know my profitable niches, but do not copy me because it is hard to reproduce. You need have a team, etc.

99% won't, it's sometimes the new / shady types who might be tempted.

Easy way to avoid this is use a reputable writer.

You don't need to worry about anyone stealing ideas. Ideas are worth very little, execution and completion is everything. We all have at least a hundred big ideas that can change the world and potentially make a lot of money but we only have twenty four hours a day and we have things that require attention. The person who benefits from the idea are the ones launching their ideas and getting paid by the people who find the idea useful.

You should not worry if your copywritter will steal your idea. What you should worry about is ... your competitors to not steal your paid content :)
Copywriters are what they are because they like what they do , they just write :)

I believe you are mistaking writing as the only skill required to run a successful niche website. There tech, marketing, analytics involved. Professional writers are more concerned with their own job - writing. They write because they like to. So all the other areas of running a successful website is like a headache to them. So, rest assured, they are more concerned with doing a good job and getting more orders.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks
