If i buy PBNs, is it just a matter of time?

Why is there such a risk when it comes to pbns? Does the rankings boost only last until you get hit by google, and then your site is forever kicked to the dirt with no return in site? Or can i just nailed my site with pbns; rank, and just disavow as i go?

One of the risks is not being able to see if the PBNs domains have been connected to eachother. If you created your own, you know it inside & out.

The danger with buying PBN links is that you have no idea what care the seller is putting into the network. I'm sure there are great link providers out there but there are also some downright terrible ones. It's much better/safer to build your own PBN. That way you're in total control and you'll know you're doing everything you can to avoid footprints.

Or if you are buying public networks, make sure all the sites are niche relevant and don't contain links to adult, gambling, pharmaceutical, or, increasingly, cryptocurrency sites

PBNs need to be built as natural looking sites on expired / auction domains that have previous clean history and backlink profile. If any connections between the PBN sites are avoided, other than having a link on them to the same site, there's no need to worry. The risk is with spammy and poorly done PBNs. If done correct, it's one of the safest method for link building, cause it's quality over quantity. If google detects a site to be a PBN, it usually deindexes the domain from its search, and if it's only couple of PBNs from a link profile, then the moneysite is usually fine, just a small link loss.

Total rubbish. You can say the same about any form of backlinking, if you don't know how to do it correctly.

It definitely works for some people, but Penguin hit a lot of PBNs pretty hard. Good for you if you're having success with them though.

from what little i know, i think pbns are just as safe as getting a guest post on some other "real site" when done right. But do you know what happens when one of them does expire or gets pickup by google? does it penalize the money site or just lose some ranking juice or what?

I think correctly mean google doesn't know you manipulating serp. (but maybe they know everything)

If your network isn't connected to each other at ALL. the worst case scenario is to lose a small portion of your network, if that happened then you will need to add more sites to balance the power of the previous link juice.

If your PBN is poorly made, then it's just few weeks/months and you will get that strong hit.

Concerning the Public network, they works but not for a long term, most the time I buy some links to a new site until the PBN dedicated to this site is ready then I remove the PUBLIC ones and insert the PRIVATE ones.

No one knows everything. If that was true Google wouldn't have duplicate content then. Notice how big company's still have similar news that sounds almost same espect it's worded a little different (spun content ?)

Also not long ago I ranked the whole first page for a 1000 people/month keyword. Not really impressive but it shows it's still possible to do blackhat stuff on Google.

One last thing, Google gets more smart with the app but it's hard to catch if you do it perfect. I see some niches in porn still have that .
