Should I try to rank my article if google image and fb pages, pinterest ranks top pages.There are no website for next 2pages.

Why not? Free traffic if there's no competition there.

Hugely depends on the search query in question. For some niches you will never outrank google images and usually in my experience even if you work your way to the 2nd position CTR would be literally zero percent.
If you think that you can add something more than what a searcher would find on google images or even if you can write some text for the search query then you can maybe go for it.
Anyway, always think about the user intent and what can you add to the serps that isn't already present there that can be of value for the readers.

Think on the intent: maybe a multimedia result features the best match? There are thousands of queries where Google Images are unbeatable, be aware of this.

You can rank if you post images in your post. Give Google what it's looking for.

Yes you should. I had a website for which I only targeted google image rankings and made good money with it
