Because there are so many elderly people here, young people go to big cities. People are watching tv here all the time, gossiping, etc. Spanish mentality is different. They don't want trouble cause they are lazy to look for answers or question authorities.Just an FYI, almost 60% of population in Spain is fully vaccinated, almost 70% already got their first dose. You kind of just proved the point that vaccination does work.
People get vaccine to not mind it anymore cause they are tired and want to go be with people.
When the quarantine started i went through countries from Spain to France, stayed there a while and then Lithuania. No vaccines then and everything looked the same. People were dying like crazy, but no one was crying out that it was from covid. We lost a family member to heart condition, medics wrote down it was from covid... even tho they ran the test 3 times and it was negative. I myself had symptoms when i went last year to UK, test came back negative. Been in lockdown in UK for a year, Luton to be exact. Nobody wearing masks and no vaccine at that time yet. Later on people got scared or had to do it because of their work.
Sorry about long text, having a brainstorm
