Let's face it, sites don't last. You could be earning enough to live comfortable for a while, but it can all come crashing down very quickly. That is why I believe most of the earnings we make from sites should be reinvested.

What is your plan on securing long term income? Making new sites all the time and reinvesting profits? Buying stocks and real estate? Starting an offline business? Starting a serious big site (a site with a company, employees etc.)? Please give me ideas for a long term plan.

Not if you promote rev share affiliate programs.

You mean affiliate programs where you are paid for the lifetime of the customer? That's a good idea, but those customers won't be customers forever, if your site goes down those earnings will start diminishing.

I've bought real-estate outright with my earnings, so I'm guaranteed consistent income along with capital growth year on year.

Admittedly it's not very rock 'n' roll but as a full-time IMer it makes for a good pension fund :)

That and in the UK at present, you can get over 10x the return over interest with property!

Can you give pointers what services you are promoting if it is not a secret.

It is no secret, I promote casinos. Most my long term players are for Sky Vegas, it holds players but is seriously over-saturated, so hard to get sign ups.

Good choice. Do you have any backup plan in case the casino goes down one day?

Did the taxes ask proof of income when you bought the real estate? Or did you do everything by the book and reported all your earnings?

Keep making sites mate, you'll be fine. If you're worried about adsense, you can get a few adsense accounts by starting LLCs and getting a EIN. Then invest in real estate. I can't wait to buy an apartment here in Boston and rent it out so it pays for itself. My 20 year old friend from Dubai just bought 5 apartments here in Boston, but he's already breaded so it's easy for him.

Well I promote the best part of 100 casinos, most of my traffic targeted at 8 - 10 main casinos, and I have enough money in my business account to keep me happy for a very very long time. It takes a long time to build up to, and I certainly would not want to start from scratch these days.

Thanks for sharing what you do. I guess this just proves how affiliate marketing can be superior to CPC advertising.

If it is money you can afford to lose, put it into Bitcoin.

Price is like $250 right now and it was $1200 a piece back in November, 2013.

The top 20 bitcoin companies right now have a higher valuation than Bitcoin's entire market cap. If that doesn't tell you Bitcoin is undervalued, I don't know what would.

Disclaimer: Do not put ANY money into Bitcoin that you cannot afford to lose.

I do everything by the book as I run my IM through a LTD. Company. If you apply for a mortgage they go on what you pay yourself, not what you earned, however these purchases were personal cash so no questions asked :)
