Okay , I know some of you are big in the offline world.

I was just wondering what can i offer local businesses other than:

    • SEO
    • Business Listing Submissions
    • SMS Marketing
    • Web design (If Applicable)
    • Social Marketing (FB, Twitter etc)

Anything else i can offer ?

    Thanks!

That's already a big list of services. In my experience I would actually narrow it down rather than increase the list. It'll make you come off as a specialist and would be able to charge a higher amount for your services.

If you are already doing web design, you may want to consider offering brochures & print advertising that matches the look of their new website. Even if you don't have a partnership with a local printer, you could send the documents to VistaPrint or a similar vendor.

My approach has been to tailor my initial recommendation to the thing I see they need the most then upsell from there. Sometimes they need on page optimization - sometimes SMS marketing just wouldn't make sense for their target audience.

One thing that I make sure to do is not overwhelm them with too many things.

I've had the best stats with:

    Direct mail
    Web design
    Social media
    Reputation management

I tend to avoid SEO given its unpredictability and because it needs to be closely monitored. The four I listed above, done correctly, can take quite a bit less time (once running) and will benefit the client in a far more predictable way (thus keeping them happy and coming back for more).

If you want tips on any of these feel free to ask.

    Best,
    Red

I would add reputation management on to the list as well as (and I'm sure some people here will murder me for giving this away) Google Business Photos. Don't ask me for more info, look into it yourself.

Just like SuperDuran said - My suggestion would be to pick a target audience and then put yourself in their shoes. What would they want? Different businesses have different needs. A restaurant would require an entirely different approach than say a talent agency. I think focusing on a specific type of business where you would be the go to guy for everyone with that kind of business would be better for yourself and the businesses.

I agree with carlikito, mobile marketing is prime right now, just need to find the right platform to make a decent profit.
