Hey I have a few accounts totalling 130k followers altogether in the healthy food niche. At the moment I have my own food blog website domain which I post simple recipes/articles on which has adsense running but I'm barely getting anything from that. The majority of my followers are female. Do you have any good ideas for monetising?

    Thanks/

Try getting in contact with supplement producers and make a deal for some "greens" supps :)

Do you mean ask them for free stuff in return for featured posts? If yes, I've already done that to a ton of companies and my room is full of free stuff haha, which I'll probably end up selling on. I'm looking for hard cash now though

Did that not work very well for you? Were you not able to make anything out of that?

why not use easyazon or easybay plugins to add relevant offers to each of your posts?

do giveaways with that stuff you earned for free and collect the mails of them, so you can "contact" them whenever you need, if you know what I mean ;)

Trouble is with that method is the cost of sending out the products, cheaper ways to collect contact details and less time consuming.

or promote sending out free stuff and let them pay the shipping costs. depending on how much the product costs they'll surely do it :)

Gym merchandise/ or write niche related ebooks then cross promote through all channels :)

I would recommend reverse engineering a monetisation strategy before starting a page,

    Best of luck!

most of the stuff are protein powders, protein bars and shakers. I was just going to keep it for myself but people I know have asked to buy some so I'll sell them at 60% of their RRP; I could get a couple of hundred pounds from that.

I've done giveaways before which have worked out great. But what I did was email companies asking them to offer their products to give to the winner and they also deliver it to them too. It means I don't have to pay anything and get the benefits of running the competition.

Has anybody done of of those t-shirt sales thing where you only send them out if they reach a certain number of sales? Are they any good?

That's a good idea, I've been thinking about writing a short eBook filled with vegan recipes (because alot of my followers are vegans too) but I couldn't find a free program that lets you write one on.

Regarding gym merchandise, I don't have enough capital to start an ecommerce store selling gym merchandise for women at the moment so unfortunately I can't do anything like that.

If i had that amount of followers in the healthy food niche i would definitely start looking for good affiliate programs.
I'm not sure if you can get a decent pay check from just adds on your blog right now.
Find out what they like to buy, what they like to spend money on.
Perhaps you can even use Amazon for that.

Make sure the quality of your website is top notch with some good articles to get more and more visitors through google search and such.

This is a super easy niche to monetize compared to something else like "photography" niche.

Just offer them some healthy products, gym products, create health blog, etc, endless ideas.

Make Real giveaways on Facebook and let them pay the shipping costs with this stuff you have for free. Eventually you will get a big FB page and you can start adverts on it to get traffic to your page.

just write great articles supporting your staff. try and convince them. everyone is in today's world is concerned with their health. whenever you mention something regarding health improvement, and increasing immunity then am sure people will flood into your site seeking to to more and soon you will see it converting to money. All the best but make sure you are patient

Ebooks are good because of the low startup costs and your selling a virtual product in this case a PDF which you can distribute through email so you have no issues with suppliers + shipping :D

Also if you have a book called '101 Vegan recipes' you can have an Instagram post for all individual 101 recipe's then have a caption like: "Recipe 49 from our Vegan ebook, link in bio"

If the content for each recipe on Instagram (picture) is appealing and you can execute well there is a lot of potential.
