This thread is for the artists and content creators who need help marketing their brand! This is **NOT** a get rich quick thread, not a thread on how to steal and profit from other people's content, not a thread for trying to get your striptease vid to go viral with bogus keywords and screenshots of boobs, etc. This thread is for aspiring Youtubers making their own quality content to discuss legal (not against youtube/google user agreements) strategies for making money from your youtube channel as your base of operations. The goal of this thread is to provide a solid strategy to make a living ($3000 per month for a single person, $10,000 per month for a team of 3, etc) from making youtube videos. According to Youtube's agreement, you can't disclose how much you're making, so keep things general. Also feel free to discuss Multi-Channel Networks (Fullscreen, etc), your general number of subscribers and views each month, etc. Just don't get too specific. Example: I'm making just enough per month to make a living - OK Example: I made $3,167.75 from my channel last month - NOT OK ADSENSE - Money from your youtube account MERCHANDISE - Sell your brand - tshirts, etc ITUNES - Sell your music SPONSOR LINKS, ETC - Drive traffic to your home page OTHER IDEAS MARKETING - Get real, honest traffic from Reddit, Facebook, blogs, etc. *EDIT* I will keep this original post updates with my own findings. I'm an artist and good at making videos, bad at making money. I'm currently barely making any money from my channel, even though I have about 40,000 views per month. As I figure out how to make more money (my goal is a liveable wage) I will update this post.
