    Hi folks

I am working on link building for an adult site. It is very hard to get quality links (+ it is foreign language).

I have this idea about how to get links and would be very interested in your opinions

lets say my brand name is 'walhalla dating' (which would be a very stupid name obviously)

nobody wants to link to walhalladating.com

How about creating a new brand 'walhalla events' on the domain walhallaevents.com. So I make a website about events (which is losely related casual dating). It will be much easier to get quality links for this. I only use branded links with anchor text 'walhalla events', 'walhallaevents', 'walhalla' etc.

After I required a lot of quality links I wait some time and then redirect walhallaevents to walhalladating. Because I have only branded anchor text and the brand is similar that does not look weird. Also the topics are at least losely related.

Would that work? Would I get a good amount of the link juice transferred?

(I am aware that probably some webmasters will delete the links to walhallaevents when they become aware of the redirect. But a lot of them will never get aware of that)

This should work for a short period, it's the same as buying expired domains that have good links pointing to them and then redirecting them to your site. Google really frowns on this practice when you do it with adult content though, so it might only work for a short period.

in general 301 does not work too well anymore. At least that is what a lot of people observe
the point here is that the new domain has the same brand name. Thus it looks quite natural - like merging two similar companies

    anymore opinions?
