[idea] Redditt / Digg vote ring

Who would be interested in joining together to form a group that would help vote up each others submissions?

We would have to set it up right, set some guidelines, and then everyone has to follow through, but it could be a good way for us to drive traffic for each other.

Imagine eveyone in the group getting hundreds of votes on their post. In return each group member has to committ to 30-45 minutes each day or so to vote up the other members submissions.

I am crazy? Flame away! LOL

I think this is a great idea if many will be participating. And yes, rules should be set up too on what articles we should vote on and stuff. I would not be voting on gambling or porn articles.

There was a similar request recently. The problem is that no one wanted to participate because they would have to reveal their money sites. It's too easy to steal someones ideas.

I've been thinking about this also and would like to add Mixx if this gets off the ground.

Link Juicer does exactly this, albeit automated, but uses different bookmarking sites.

However, you would need a system whereby the links did not appear reciprocal eg. everyone having the same list of sites that they had dug etc.

I think if that's an issue then you don't participate to be honest.

As I said above, I'm using Link Juicer at the moment and there are similarly loads of sites there that could be "stolen" if you were so inclined. Truth is, you don't know which ones are earning and which ones aren't.

No, you have misunderstood my comment. No-one is saying that you cannot speak. However, from my own personal perspective, I would only be willing to participate in such a venture with more established members.

Remember, this is my livelihood at stake here and I am not about to jeopardize that by taking any chances.

You should also read the forum rules about flaming before you post in future as you're likely to get your account banned if you continue commenting in this vain.

WOW.....posting here I feel like a freshman in high school all over again.....never have i been beat up so bad......lmao

now that's over, let's talk about how it could really work.

I was thinking of putting up a website were you would have to login to add a link (redditt, mixx, digg etc). Once you did, it would grab ten links or so and email them to you for you to vote up (10 minutes work). This is a rough idea but not sure how else to make it work - I'm an ASP.NET programmer so I could build this site in a few days. New accounts and random audits would be handled by me or designated admin. If you are caught submitting without voting up you would be banned from participation. Maybe the numbers would have to be different (i.e. more than 10 votes to submit one) but basically a give and take system.

If a lot of us do it it could be powerfull.

we could also get double the bang by promoting each others email submit offers! Muhahahah

I am in. shoot me an IM and I will click a way. if you will do the same. meaning I will digg your site not click on your adsense

Don't shoot the messenger! I was just telling why people didn't want to participate in the other thread.

I guess in that case maybe it would be a good idea to opens some special Section for this, not only post...

Why don`t you use Goggle Wave?

A group of 100 would be a good start. Let's make this real. Who's in?
