[Idea] AI that alerts people of natural disasters and pandemics

When COVID-19 was not a pandemic yet, we have so many threads in BHW about how it's a problem for dropshipping due to restrictions. I'm sure there might be News sources reporting the spread of the virus. If we can create an AI which analyzes News reports about such things and alerts people of pandemics, it will help people and Governments prepare for them.

I know there might already be some websites that are doing it, but we can provide more features. COVID-19 is the first such pandemic in the recent past, but it may not be the last. So, people and media outlets might be actively looking for authoritative sources for such information. What do you think about it?

Disclaimer: I'm not planning to create any such website, and I don't know the feasibility of such a project. It's just a discussion thread to get a better perspective.

I don't think it will show regulators and goverments any info they don't have already, problem comes how to make them work as a team and push in the same direction when it comes to a global issue.

I agree that Govts already have all that data. It should create awareness for the public.

Biological warfare is the future of mankind

It's not about 'preparedness'

Stats show this pandemic is no pandemic.

I was in the Caribbean for a localized pandemic before, and I saw visually the disease moving around. Doctors offices loaded, people really looking sick, etc.

This Covid-19 thing, they say it's here but i see nothing.. no one else sees nothing.. etc A few stories but nobody REALLY knows a person who was healthy by educated standards, and randomly died.

It may be picking off people who made bad health decisions.. abuse of the 'temple' but, it's not the black plague nor similar.

This AI won't work because this is truly something orchestrated at a political level for some sort of economic shift.

You can't make AI work when the shifts/moves happening are caused by ignorant Human rationality and selfish-interests for controls
