    I wonder what this means for us as far as SEO goes? Will they be devalued like .infos or.biz or will google rank them high because of what is involved in obtaining these domain tlds.

    Doesn't really mean much. The fortune 500 companies will have a new tool so they can do like:

    promokeyword.nike

    to make TV ads and such easier to remember than:

    nike.com/promokeyword

    For the rest of things will just stay the same; no normal person's gonna drop 185K on a domain

    It sounds like its manual review so they're not going to approve someone who plans on registering something like .sex and then selling subdomains so people could get like watch.sex and such. It sounds like it has to be a corporation using it for their corporate site.

    Apart the fact that this is going to involve a shitload of papers to be signed and such, you will have to deliver a serious sum of $. It's not that kind of dream opened for everybody. What wowhaxor said, it's pretty accurate.
