Hello.
I would like to have several PC's to run 24X7 on decent internet speed which will never go down/offline.
Atm i use aheadhost vps and using scrapebox on it but it is going on hanging state after 3-4 days.
I contacted support they said restart it every 2-3 days which is i dont have time to do that is what vps for ? continously running.
Does anybody faced the similar issue while using scrapebox?
how to overcome this problem..
What do you suggest? Should i change my provider? if yes then which to choose.
And which will be good vps or dedicated server?
And most probably it should be reasonable rate and it should contentiously work nonstop.
Thank you so much

Maybe you can find out why the server hangs after 3-4 days, check logfiles etc. Changing provider is no guarantee to solve your problem.
Try running scrapebox on your home-pc for a few days and see what happens. If you can't find the cause you could create a script that restarts scrapebox or restart the server every few days.
For sure VPS'es can be used 24/7, but if there's software running on them that kills them it's not the vps that's the problem.

Upgrade to a dedicated server instead of VPS. I run multiple copies of Scrapebox and other SEO tools at the same time, no problem.

Well what you "could" do, which isn't a solution to the problem, but really a work around is this.

I assume your using the automator?

If so you can write a script that monitors scrapebox or kills it every 3 days and then restarts it and you can call the automator file in the process so scrapebox starts up.

I have multiple servers that run lots of scrapebox instances 24/7/365. I do this.

I don't necessarily do it because it gets locked after 3 to 4 days but I can't be logging in and checking on things so I kill all sorts of programs and restart them for good measure. I also work in small chunks of files so I don't lose much if any data.

On the flip side you could try working with smaller sets of data and see if that helps.

Does it give an error or does it just say not responding or?
