I would like to change DNS of my portable firefox

I bought shock5 proxies from dichvusocks.us but after adding the proxy to portable firefox my DNS was same so I bought a got a virtual machine from vultr.com and installed portable firefox in that but the results are same even that firefox is showing DNS or my personal computer. Can anyone help me with that How can I hide my DNS?

In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and select Preferences. ...
Scroll down to Network Settings and click the Settings
Click the Use Provider drop-down under Enable DNS over HTTPS to select a provider in the list.
You can also select Custom to set up a custom provider.

its possible the ip is leaking if its showing on several whats my ip sites
get some different proxies.

Hello!
You can install proxy toggle add-on to the ordinary version of Mozilla and check «remote DNS», it will adjust the DNS geo to the IP-address of geo proxy.

Another method is don’t use SOCKS5, use HTTP. It will automatically adjust the DNS geo to the IP-address of geo proxy. Tell if it helped.
