I work a day job, not fantastic pay, but pretty good for what I have to do.

It's simply to save some cash so I may pay for a Degree in Computer Engineering I'm starting next year. Despite this, I find myself pushing to get through the day so I may get home and working on all things IM.

I'm not making any fantastic cash yet, reading, researching and learning just destroys hours. 8 hours when online goes in the blink of the eye, especially compared to 8-10 hours at work.

Anyone else sometimes feel like quitting their job just to go IM full time, despite the fact you may not earn close to what you do now? Haha.

I went full time a year and a half ago. Now I love my entire day and make a lot of money. Win win for me!

I'd leave a job when I feel absolutely confident I can earn more. I am full day too and it is all great, but sometimes you go up and down... so, you should be ready for this.

I just moved half way up the country (uk) and went full time without looking for a irl job. Yeah the bills started to pile up and I didn't make any $$ for a month whilst I learnt IM but to me it was a risk I was willing to take. I'm glad I did now as the $$ is slowly starting to come in and I can see my self being in the same situation as artifical_genius this time next year.

Im trying the best of both worlds. Managed to convince my boss that IM was a decent earner once you get going...so now i get to spend time at work doing IM. And the nice thing is, all the tools and skills i am learning by ranking niche sites i am now applying to our tourism sites and will hopefully see an increase in clients soon...also the company is willing to pay for certain tools which i am allowed to use for my own personal niche sites...nice 14 hour work days though....lets hope it pays off.
