So here's the thing: over a year back I write a Kindle book that ran for 100 pages. It's a book about overcoming procrastination, and it's completely the result of my sweat and tears and my writing effort. I am really proud of that book! :)

Unfortunately the book never made many sales (just 10 sales or so). I never really promoted the book in any major way due to lack of any solid income source at the time. Eventually I just forgot about it and it's still lying there in the Kindle store, not making any money. However it's a complete book with a good cover, good description and REALLY good content (if I may say so). It's ready to be sold if it can be marketed.

If you have ANY experience in promoting Kindle books, it would be absolutely great if you could promote my Kindle book for me somehow so that it makes some sales. We could do a 50/50 JV, or I could pay you a one-time fee to promote my book. PM me if you are interested.

P.S. So why am I caring about this now? Well, the thing is I am going to apply for an MBA, and the fact that I have written a book that has made some sales will look really good on my resume and add to my overall profile versatility. Plus the book might make some money too. :)

Run the free KDP offer on your kindle book on a weekend and two weeks before you plan to do that, submit it to all these places. If you can't do this then read your book about procrastination and go back to the beginning of this post.

    Ha ha I know. :p

I have deviated towards other money-making pursuits (learning about GSA SER, making semi-passive money on Fiverr (earned $300 this month) and pretty close to making big money with my SEO shenanigans) so I really didn't concentrate on this.

Anyway, the $100 book of the week paid promotion on freeebooksdaily.net looks good I think. I could also go for the $190 promotion on BookBub (as long as I can break even). However I am not sure whether the sales would actually come because I'm not sure whether people would be interested in this niche.

If someone experienced with Kindle can provide some advice, that would be great. :) Is this a "sellable" niche?

I have money to invest and I am actively earning money on Fiverr. So paid promotions that help me to at least break even with my book sales will really save a lot of time.

Register on ebook forums and ask some questions about this book but don't do it like you promote yourself. And it is a good way to promote your book by submitting your book to review websites. Consider popular reviews sites dedicated to helping you get book reviews such as Kirkus Reviews, KindleBookReview.Net and Goodreads.

OK thanks RichardGB. I shall ask on some e-book forums and submit to popular review sites before running a paid promotion.

    Fair enough.

I had formulated an amusing book summary in my head, just in case you wanted to pursue the irony route :)

As far as being a 'sellable' niche, in my opinion it is.

Ironically, I think those who suffer from procrastination are more likely to pay for a 'solution' than get on with just 'doing'

I'm not sure what happened to my original post? - it was intended ironically, not maliciously.

Seems to me the Amazon Kindle section is not short of books covering your chosen topic.

That means plenty of competition for your book.

But to succeed with your creation you must get behind it and promote the hell out of it.

Just a question : Did you consider offering for sale on e-junkie ???

What is your budget, OP? And how many sales per day are you targeting?

Never heard of e-junkie before. Will check it out thanks.

$100-$200. I'm just looking to break even or make a little bit of money.

How about some FB groups about overcoming procastination. Just promote it as a product that worked for you and bla bla bla...
As long as you don't have an aff link (which you obviously don't) you should be safe.
