I was denied service by a proxy provider?? wut? o_O

    So here's the conversation as it went, and you be the judge, and tell me where I f*cked up... cause I am dumbfounded (and yes, with proxys - I am a total noob, roast me if you wanna but pls help out)




    me: I am interested in instagram proxies for my clients, but I want to be at least 90% sure I'll be getting reliable addresses that won't be shared with other customers on your platform. Can I get a 3-4 day test drive before I make a purchase please?

    For what do you need the proxies ? and how many ?
    Usually we dont provide test proxies, also we are one of the few providers out there who do not lie their customers and sell shared proxies instead of dedicated.

    increase as I gain more customers.

    Do you guys allow switching proxy's? If yes, is it free?

    I understand that you don't do demos, so keeping in mind that I have a
    limited budget, will I be able to get a refund if the proxy turns out to be
    banned? I'm looking to have some sort of customer protection.

    who knows, who cares. maybe your buy volume is too low, maybe the refund question scared them off, maybe something else. you'll never know the real reason. it's weird you had to talk to a rep before placing your order.
    focus on finding another vendor, not dwelling on a rejection.

    I almost never buy from a company that talks badly about their competitors.

    You should be glad that they do not want to do business with you.

    Honestly, I would turn you off too. Nowadays with instagram you can be 80% sure that regular proxies are not going to work.

    This goes to show that you cannot benefit well from them and they you. As for me, I would be glad I was saved from doing business with them, since, based on their answers, they reek of disrespect to the customers. You can still find another provider who knows the importance of good customer service.

    Totally agree and it's a misconception some buyers have that a seller is obliged to deal with them.

    OP, speak to some of the sellers in the marketplace here and see if that yields anything useful.

    Well, I would recommend first to not limit my budget for availing the services of a dedicated proxy. You can try OxyLabs Private Proxies since they offer a 7-day trial, which is what you are looking for.

    Could be many reasons why they are declining you as a customer which have nothing to do with you, i.e. all of their proxy blocks may be flagged by IG and he's saving both of you time & headaches since they won't work well.

    Agree with others - whilst “the customer is always right” is a saying I strongly beleive in, a seller always has the right to decline to accept business from a prospect and also to end a customer relationship if they don’t feel they can provide something that will satisfy.
