I've done website development and marketing for local businesses for 5 years on and off. I've realised why I don't make it ahead because I don't put the continual effort into it and I do not provide a service that is scalable.
To me the most scale out of any type of business is an online only one. I want to stop dealing with local clients and just go online only. I hope to bring value to this forum, and to learn lots as well.
