You'll have to tirelessly promote your forum on social media and other platforms where your users are. For example, you could try to start a gaming channel on YouTube or stream on Twitch and try to funnel viewers from those sources to your forum. These two mediums are already fairly saturated so you may have to find a niche or be creative in your presentation/delivery to attract an audience.

You could also try to reach out to 'influencers'. These are people who usually have a large social media following. You could ask them to place links or tell them to refer signups to your site. This is generally a very hard thing to do from my experience as these types of people get bombarded with tons of requests every day.

Another way is to do content marketing. You could do this by writing blog posts that would be relevant to gamers such as writing about new products or tools they could be using such as GPUs, CPUs, keyboards, etc.

In short, there's no easy way to get more visitors. Experiment and measure your results!
