Would a VPN/VPS be able to do this? Basically, my bandwidth limit on my home internet isn't very high. I want to be able to run programs non stop. Would I be able to do this from a VPN or VPS? How can I achieve this?

you can do it from a VPS.

VPS stand for Virtual Private Server, VPN for Virtual Private Network.

VPS is a virtual pc that you can connect to and run software.
VPN is a virtual network that you can use, for example, to hide your real IP (like proxies).

Yes vps is the best option for you
pie have clients that just log in run their seo tool and then log out
    program keeps running 24x7

Vpn is something totally different , you just change the public ip of your computer

If you are in need of vps kindly check my sign and my customer reviews

    Thank you

To accomplish this you need a VPS not VPN. You can find dozens of members selling VPS in BHW BST. It runs 24/7.

The cheapest vps i've seen is about $26/month with 2gb of ram and unlimited bandwidth (something you'll also want). Checkout berman hosting.

You can only use VPS to run softwares not VPN. VPNs are use to hide IPs, they generate proxies.

That's going to be about as good as a free car (and not one a relative gave you).

I haven't seen any vps that are providing service for free. I don't think that any service provider will provide vps service for free. But you can make a google search and see if you can find some free VPSs.

VPS is definitely the way to go - even if you have a great Internet connection.

    Why?
    a) Obviously, you can get much more bandwidth and don't weight down your own network/machine.
    b) Choose the right VPS provider and never worry about complaints/reports about your IP.

I use wooservers for $29/month. Bandwidth is great, processing power could do with improvement.. but hey, at $29/month...!

Definitely worth the expense if you're serious.

I use wooservers too, but the scrapebox version, which is unmetered. The regular wooservers is capped at 1tb/mo. 1gb is *just* barely enough to run a tool.
