I want to retrieve my account, but Facebook keeps asking me to verify my identity.

If you believe the information you've sent to be valid and this is some error on their part, you can submit an appeal to Facebook.
If you're identity information was rejected, like your ID or something, there's some instructions to follow:
To submit an appeal, click the notification saying that your ID was rejected, or go to [Facebook website]/id. Find the authorization with the error, click Submit an Appeal, enter a reason why you think we made a mistake and then click Submit. After submitting your appeal, allow 48 hours for a response. Hope that helps somewhat.

2.Click below the cover photo.
3.Select Find Support or Report Profile.
4.Select More Issues, and then click Next.
5.Click Restore this account and follow the steps.

honestly it will be very time consuming if you use real identifying information. In the past, when I was still running ads on fb, I often used avatars and information on facebook accounts that needed to be verified to fake identity documents with photoshop.
