Hi, to all the great members of this forum! From my post count you can guess that I don't post much. :)

I have been on the Internet for quite sometime, trying to make money. I have been able to make some amount doing various stuff like article writing, SEO, selling forum signatures, flipping domains, etc. I have been able to make a few dollars but nothing considerable.

I was into a regular day job till recently but it had odd working hours and the income was not that great though it took good care of the basic needs. I have an offline business in mind that I am trying to setup but it will take time. I can go back to the same industry that I was in without much effort but I really want to do something on my own so that I can make my parents proud and make a good living for myself.

I have read a lot of great methods here posted by some of the members and I must say that they have done a commendable job by making money from it as well as sharing it with others.

I must say that I am suffering from information overload. Most of the methods involve CL, CPA, etc. and for that the basic requirement is a website so as to get approved and drive traffic to the offers. It also involves spending some money on proxies/pvas and I don't think right now I can afford to purchase a domain, a monthly hosting account and other stuff. I have around $50 in my PayPal but I think I will have to encash them for my expenses.

I am not asking anyone to tell me a get-rich-quick method. I know all the members have done a lot of hardwork to reach the position where they are earning a handsome online income. I am willing to do the same but I need your help.

Work that I already have experience about:
    * Article/content writing
    * Normal SEO
    * Probably something more that I cannot think of, right now

I am willing to spend time to follow a method, research about it, gain knowledge about it so that's not a problem. I would request you to please guide me so that I can make average/good amount of money online.

I apologize if it sounds like another thread from a noob asking on how to make $100 quickly but I think I have to share my situation with you.

Thanks a lot in advance for your time and for reading my story! :)

ok, as your teacher, this is your first objective

You will read blackhatworld's forum, you will comprehend this is a english based site, you will put the letters into groups and form words, you will put these "words" into sentences, you will learn from these sentences that they are proven ways to make money online.

You have 3 months to make your first dollar. go my child and make me proud.

    :tee::tee:

p.s. I could comprehend this as being a request IF this site did NOT have a "Money Making" section. i could also understand if this site/forum was a not about the specific subject of making money.

so for you to come to this site and ask how to make money is completely C O M I C A L.

    Kind Regards,
    Your Dad.

    Go read the forum.
    Honestly.

We get hundreds of these threads a month.

Want to make a quick $100 - Ewhore.
Semi Long-term income (if you're creative about mailing lists, paid downloads, and overall creating revenue from traffic) - Autoblogs.
    Long-term - White hat sites.
Fairly short term, somewhat steep learning curve, extremely lucrative - Craigslist
Lot's of work, need to know what you are doing, take's time to find an effective method, harder because no good way to inflate hits - Youtube

    One more thing.

This is not quick. In order to really go from scratch to be comfortable making a full time income here will take around 1 year.

$50 is more than enough to start your own website. Hosting (including any one-time setup fees) + .com domain name should run you under $15 for the first month (much less if you start with a .info domain), and $5-10 per month for hosting after that. You'll also save a few dollars by checking Google for online coupons before signing up for anything.

I know how hard it is investing money when you don't have much, but you're not going to get anywhere if you don't try. If the thought of losing that much cash in a failed venture is too much for you to bear, then maybe you should wait until you have more money saved up. Better yet, try a method that doesn't have any start up costs.

I started out as a complete noob, but browsing the Making Money section and using the search function whenever I had question has taught me a lot.

I don't really know if you have read my post completely or just seen the title but I will mention it again - I have read the forums and various money making methods. Most of them require some kind of investment which I really can't do at this point of time and I am also confused about which method to implement as I can see a lot of them (information overload).

And there is no reason to be personal!

    peace

From the thread title, you might assume that I don't read BHW but if you had read my post, you might have known if it was true.

I know this is not a school and I am not asking anyone to hold my hand and teach me from the beginning. I am just asking for a little help from you guys as you have a lot of experience in this field and you might have already been in my situation so you know what's the best course of action for me.

If asking for help is not allowed here then I apologize for my mistake.

    peace

I had to quit my night job (odd working hours) to setup something that can be done in the day and that doesn't take its toll on my health in the long run. As I mentioned before, I am trying to setup an offline business that I cannot do along with the job.

I thank all those who have posted above. At least you took the time to post something. I know that there are a lot of such threads being posted here but at least I have something in mind before I am asking for help. I am not just saying I want to make $100 by next weekend, help me. Thanks again! :)

Online business is perhaps the only million dollar business which you can start with least amount of investment. But if you are not ready to invest at least $9 /year for domain, then you better go back to your regular job.

even if you are not able to afford a domain, why not start free blogs in blogger? You may try doing article marketing to sell clickbank products.Bum marketing is the best for you since you said you are a content writer. Some niches convert very well - find them and write 10 to 15 articles everyday in ezinearticles.Iam sure you will make money. But yes, this going to take a lot of time and energy.good luck :D

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I had signed up for a clickbank account a long time ago but I don't remember the details so I will signup for a new one. Does clickbank approve only quality sites/blogs or is it quite easy to get the account approved or we don't require a website at all for getting started?

    Hi Zack

From your post you seem to have quite a talent for writing- so maybe put that to use first and write articles?

There is a good thread on here somewhere about selling a batch of articles with PLR rights on Digital Point- ie write 20 articles and sell them for just $10, but sell the batch 20 times. You could also sell on the warrior forum- the classified ads section is still free to sell, I believe.

My advice would be to do that for example twice a week, and get a bit of money behind you then you can think about buying domains and hosting etc.

I can't find the original thread now, but I guess if you hunt around you will find it.

Might be a good idea to get some of the niche/keyword tools that are shared here to be sure your articles are going to be in demand.

There is also a hell of a lot of good copywriting material here- you might have a talent for that if you were to learn a bit about it.

If you can type fast, do some paid forum posting and you could get like 7-8$/hour if there are enough orders.

    Or,

write 250/500 worded articles and get like 10/hour

in 2 days you will have 100$

    Proof- me:p

then, invest these 100$ in outsourcing and get profit 200-300$, after that expand till you get 1000$ in the article business.

At that time you could branch out in something else.

I do this when I need some emergency cash.

P.S. you could get 1k$ in a week.

There is one thing I can suggest that probably isn't what you want to hear is to try freelance writing, mturk or any other things like that. There are tons of that stuff out there you just have to look. I have done some of them and they are not bad but not high paying. I actually still do mturk in my spare time for a few extra $.

I too am looking for a different way to make money. A way to make more of it to get out of a horrible job that makes my disability worse than it already is but like others said it is trial & error for what suites you. I have not found it yet either but I've been reading & reading & reading & have come up with a lot of good ideas I want to try.

    Good luck on your search.

You can try building something like a squidoo lens and placing your affiliate links in the text. You have to make several and get alot of hits before you start making money, but it is a good way to learn the business. Its not going to make you rich overnight, but you will learn a lot and make a few bucks on the side.

Its not just about domain registration. There is a regular hosting fee and then there are other expenses like proxies and other stuff depending on the method that is implemented.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I will give it a try. I had read that thread before but I had thought that DP guys would not pay that much even for fresh PLR articles. However, I will still give it a try and probably reduce the price a bit. :)

Thanks for the suggestions but forum posting only pays like $1/10 posts so it is very difficult to earn $7-8 in an hour. It is also difficult to get a regular stream of such work. Same goes for article writing. But I will still keep your suggestions in mind. :)

I will give it a try. Thanks. :)

I will check that out. Thanks. :)

Run a donation site? Just tweak your content since you are good at writing and maybe some people will be convinced.
Anyways.. In your case if you have a tight budget freelancing is the way.
And yay for teh 1st post!!!

You could probably make a quick hundred or so with PPI. Once you get your IP banned from all the sites (or your neighbors if they have open wifi) you could have $100 or so to invest in hosting and such. Not much we can talk about here, so check out the PPI forums. You could also e-whore with little investment, but that doesn't appeal to most people.
Also this is a better thread than all the other how do i make $ threads because it seems he really has tried looking around. In IM you don't need to spend money to make money. good luck in whatever method you choose.
