Work outside of Toronto, it's a nice city, little costlier than some of the surrounding areas (Brampton, Milton, Waterloo, Mississauga) but also a lot more to do - plus canada is a great place to live
And if you're looking for a suburb the East end is a less expensive than the West end. Probably greater growth potential as well since it's not been built up to the extent of Brampton/Mississauga though its the same distance from downtown.
toronto is an amazing city, west end is booming as in mississauga, brampton etc. New areas are expanding aswell like Caledon. Property are chepa to buy in those areas but development is sky rocketing which makes property value soar aswell. Overall, I say you got nothing to lose here economically, especially when you compare it to europe and usa which are hitting recession after recession. Best of luck on your voyage
Do alot of research before you go to whatever city you go to. As for the whole recession thing as what mark said, you shouldn't be looking at entire countries, but individual cities instead as well the kind of industries there, usa is in a recession but there's cities with 1% and lower unemployment that you can make a ton of money from. Williston,North Dakota is booming like crazy more so then probably any city in Canada. The drawback is that apartments are hard to find, and expensive due to the boom.
Good day lethallp, Great to hear from you buddy.
I also considered somehow to move to Canada.
From all the cities, Vancouver and Toronto are worth considering for a newcomer.
My classmate lives in Vancouver for the last 6 years and at the end of the day she want to move out to Toronto. The only one thing that keeps here at this
place is college. Vancouver might be great, but if you are super rich or going to retire soon. For a young and ambitious person who wants to live in big city, Toronto is a better option. If your IM income going to fall (and you know it might happens), you would like to get a job. And Toronto Job market is far better and out stands Vancouver which is mostly a tourist city.
BTW, why not New York? Great city too with World Class standards. See you at T.O!
Ey guys, thank you very much for your responses.
I really feel that all you guys are telling me that Toronto is an amazing citiy to live on.
I will make a lot of research before i make a move. But i've got to tell you that i'm very motivated to know that Toronto it's a great city.
If anyone else is interested in moving send me a PM
New York city is where you want to go if you want to rapidly advance your life/career.

stay away from scarborough or all you'll be seeing is murders and assualts on the neew. Its getting really hectic esoecially in the summer time ( right about now ). Try missuaga, brampton or pickering. I think missiauge is the best choise right now !!
