Well guys,

I am tired of living in my country and want to go aboard. Which country can be best right now for job (for my wife)? And which country is easy to survive?

And also can you suggest me some advice on doing so.

And please note that I am good marketer so I will love to work in same field as I am doing right now but my qualification is just high school pass and diploma i.e 11 and 12 failed :p. Can I get job aboard if I can't get stable with my current freelancing.

Not sure what you know about the "first world" as you put it, but you are in for a shock.

Firstly, getting here is going to be extremely difficult unless you have a rich family member to sponsor you over. If not, you are looking at years of waiting to process paper work with no guarantee of approval. And they are getting tougher.

Secondly, immigration or anyone looking at your job as IM will just laugh. Unless you have something you get a regular paycheck from a normal employer and real life experience, they will not even consider your income. Less educated people are not desired either because they will probably end up on the street. Someone that lays bricks is more valued that an IM. What does an IM contribute to society - not much.

Thirdly, life is very different and expensive here. These countries (U.S. and Canada) are big with lots of infrastructure so our taxes are high to pay for all that. A hundred dollars is nothing here - thats my water bill for a month.

Lastly, you better get used to living in an northern climate. That means that for literally 4-5 months a year, you are almost house bound. Many immigrants who have never faced real weather cannot cope with that.

Sorry to be a downer, but thats the truth from my immigrant friends. Still all the best to you and your efforts.

First thing is that, UK is too easy to go and USA is not hard enough due to economic crisis. And even if I don't have sponsor than also I think I can go there. I can be there with student VISA. And I am also ready to go with any types of Visa. I am not trying to migrate my whole family. And my wife will go as dependent. A lots of are going but the thing is that they are ending at street. And I can provide enough document here to show myself rich and I got 6.5 in TOEFL/IELTS which is enough.

And another thing is that I do most SEO than other techniques and till now I am able to keep client and myself happy. And I am not looking for job or anything similar. but I am just aware that if I can't make amount or can't afford with this amount that I get right now as stable amount then can I get a job?

And I would also like to know that if certificate is that important? If I can prove myself as a good PHP coder (which I am enough) then will there still be problem with education certificate. And I just didn't read coz School and college sucks and same with their's education. May be your country's education doesn't suck but my country's do. Even MSc in computer science is not fluent in C#. What to do with those education? So, I never felt to pass those back papers.

First of all, going by this post, I'd suggest you improve your writing/grammar skills before you even consider applying for citizenship in an English speaking country. No potential employer would accept this level of written communication skill.

And as for being a good PHP coder... join the club! They are a dime-a-dozen and there are already more than enough coders out there to fill the bill.
 
Well, I think I can improve my writing/grammar skills easily. It's just a forum and not a PR site. So, I just put my thoughts as I was thinking.

If nothing is possible for me then will you suggest me something else to get aboard and stay with stability.

I don't think it's that hard to get to first world country with student visa, is it? All of my friends are moving to those countries easily with this. And the first world country are also getting huge income by getting these types of students to their country, isn't it?
 
Don't let these guys get you down. It's people like you that are making it every day in the transition you're talking about doing. People that have some sort of huge work ethic because they know what they used to have and the upgrade that is possible.

Also, get more opinions. Go check country review sites. Every country has good things and bad things. Take India for example. Low cost of living and they are developing very rapidly but the living conditions aren't quite up to par with the US or UK. If you are from India please don't jump on the gas station bandwagon. ;)

My target is European or American countries not India. I can get there without VISA and can have a bank account legally with my own country's document.

And I am not from India and not going to jump to any gas station:D.

More suggestions please. And country suggestion would also be great help.
 
How much do you make a month in USD? Before you do something drastic make sure you will have enough to live comfortably.
 
I'm in the UK and we get hundreds of criminals, terrorists and leachers cross our borders
everyday. There are a lot of people here who have issues regarding immigration but I for
one would rather have ten people like you in my country than one who only came here
for our weak social security system and NHS. I'm prohibited from going into politics on
this board however if you want to come here and contribute to society I will make you welcome.

I am currently above $1k which is nice income for my country but I know it's not enough for that country. But I am increasing my income in good ratio. And till I make plan to go there, I will surely hit enough IMO. I am working too hard coz all of my country people are in sleep right now and I am still discussing with you guys.


in america it doesnt matter about your resume nor your education so much.

if you are a web coder, you have to have a good portfolio of existing work to show someone

if you can make websites, lots of jobs in USA everyday

The question I have for you is why? If you are living comfortably and will be well off in your own country, why spend thousands of dollars coming to a new one, where you won't be anywhere near the top of the pile. Living costs are a lot more in the US/Canada/UK/Aus.

[edit: just noticed your last post, even if you times what you earnt by 5 you would only be living just above average in the UK. I pay what you earn in a year in tax alone!]
 
me as a foreigner that lived in the 'first' world all his life and now for years in SE Asia, i can only advice you to make some money with IM and improve your life here. Here you never have to fill the fuel yourself, carry your bags to the car, the weather is always warm, there are more chicks than guys.

In contrast UK is a crimanal shithole, yes, the surely need one more immigrant like you to sweep the mcdonalds floor. It rains all the time, they are all alcoholics, theres mary poppins and its fricken cold ALL THE TIME ! Man if youre in south asia, like you can go to singapore, indonesia, malaysia or thailand, these are pretty advanced, life is cheap and beautiful. Just make some money from IM and enjoy it here, then make a holiday in the 'first' world and laugh yer ass off. You gotta be kidding me ! People there are whining nonstop so terrible it is to make a living. You got all on hand, ungestapoed internet to be one, you can even sell BS from your local market on ebay, or go and sell steroids, there nobody going to follow up in SE Asia.

At the end of the day it is your choice, but if you are comparing lifestyes why not work just as hard as you were planning on doing if you were going to move to the uk/aus/usa so you can live a totally luxurious lifestyle and just live in s.e. asia, but a house on a beach and live the good life.
 
Omg. If I made it big here I'd love to take a trip to SE Asia. I'd take my money and spend months there at a time. Mainly for the women;)

thailand, indonesia, malaysia, australia, hong kong, japan

where?

Cuz i have been to all of those countries, and they are all great.

You can make a hell out of heaven, and a heaven out of hell.

And don't forget, if you move to the USA or the EU or the UK, then you may make more money in a salary job, yes.

BUT, your cost of living will be 10 times what you are paying now.

If I were you, I would learn IM and make a lot of money and be happy where you are.

That's good to hear. It will be difficult enough to get a job, especially during the current recession. But good reading/writing skills are always a help!

It's not that nothing is possible for you, it's that relying on coding alone would be a bad idea, since there are many coders out there looking for jobs. In fact I was just recently contacted by a fellow who wanted to work for me as a coder. :D

If you were in North America I could show you how to start a small business that has little competition and would generate a fairly steady income for you. All you'd need is a phone and a computer. I've tried to teach this to people but nobody is interested in learning... :eek:

Also, it would be a good idea to diversify your skills into more than one income stream since jobs can vanish.
