I want to get started

I will start this thread talking a bit about me, what I have done, what i want to/can do, and what I would need.

Basically i will be posting updates about my journey as a way to payback all what i will be learning from this forum.

Well, during several years i was working promoting adult aff programs, i was running my own sites and driving traffic to the aff sites for a commission. It was not bad then, but i was younger and i was not spending the necessary time there, even tho, until now i still have some residual incomes.

Now I'm living with a girl so i would need to increase my incomes, she was trying to find job since several months ago but couldn't yet, so she signed up with a kind of PPC site. Not sure if it's the usual PPC site, in fact it's not but not sure if it fits into the PPC category.

Basically she registered, and they provide 2 links, one for clicks and one for referrals. It's a russian site (I'm not russian but she is) Basically they say that you earn 25 rubles per click, she was doing all alone and managed to get around 200 rubles in a couple of days, then a bit more. Since i have spare time, i decided to help her, and i registered as her reff (refs pays 50%).

Since I have some experience it was not hard for me to get the 200 clicks to reach the minimal 5000 rubles and request a payment to see if it's legit. I reached the 5000 and i requested a payment but i got a message saying that i need 20 ref which i still didn't get (and made my girl earn 2500 since she got a 50% commission from me) now she also have the 5000 but i found in internet some bad reviews about this site saying that it's a scam.

Why did i tell you this? Because this is what triggered my curiosity again about IM.

So i started to search in this forum to see what i can do to earn some extra money.

The point is that even when i have been into IM during several years, i found that most of this looks new to me since i was only focused in aff. programs. So i need some advise about what would be better to try, what are the workarounds to integrate different strategies to maximize the profit.

I can work several hours a day, my wife also has spare time while she doesn't find a job, i have many domains (most of them are adult domains but also i got some good mainstreams) And i'm also experienced in buying domains so i can find good ones for the right niche.

Today i registered in the forum because i was trying to find a reliable site that will work as the one i mentioned, paying a decent amount for clicks that goes straight to a link, without any site building involved since it was for my wife. But then i was reading about PPV (i didn't like the idea of spending 500 or 1k to start trying since i'm a bit short with money now.

I have two really good domains (some people called them premium), one for sailing (yes, boating, sailing) and other for sex in general, health, tips, advises, etc, not porn or adult content. I can install easily WP and themes (no XP with joomla but i could try) I have hosting. What i don't know is what is the best options to start trying and since there are many and i need to start earning money i decided to post here to get some kind of brief guide about what is better to start trying, reliable companies that really pay, etc.

I'm not looking for someone to do my job, i'm not expecting someone to tell me exact keywords, since i'm not going to share that info neither. I'm not expecting more than i'm willing to share. Something like "If you want to start earning fast this is better, in the long run, this other is better. You can find what keywords pay best with this tool. Never do this or that" you know,, something general.

I can register through your aff links if you can guide me a little with this. But please, not "this site is good, AFF LINK".

Let me shortcut a bit because I have a fair deal of experience in paid-to-click sites.
Most, like 95% are a waste of most humans time. Now, you can earn some decent money through referrals, but don't waste your time clicking.

talkptc is a forum dedicated to this web industry. Years ago I was heavily into working on the AuroraGPT paid to click sites scripts. Last I checked it's still industry leader. Really the only reseller left I'd "trust" is maderite. Only site still around after like 5+ years haha. Even the original creator's site doesn't exist anymore haha.

By the way, requiring referrals for payout? Sounds scammy to me. When I ran my site I was sending payouts by the penny haha. paypal bulk pay ftw...
All it really took is one person purchasing an ad package on the site and it was self funded for a few weeks. lol.

I can't really tell if your trying to get into PTC or what. But the best advice I can give is to occasional communicate with members/community on a ptc site. As well as that, don't ban china, and don't invest too heavily in anti-botting measures. I killed my site. I stopped bots 100% and daily visits to my site came to a dead stop. They weren't all bots, but I'm sure many of people's referrals were. Bots do more good than harm initially and nobody is better at word-of-mouth good-review promotion than the chinese in my experience with industry.

It had nothing to do with bots or anything. And I also think that it's a scam site. Basically as i said they give you 2 links. One is to reffer other persons, and the other displays always the same advertisment with a tracking code, something about finances.

So, you can post the links anywhere you want, or simply share it throught social networks and when someone click it. you get 25 rubles. Also it's strange that it's always 25 rubles, since the advertisment is from Russia but you can get clicks from any other country which bounce rate is 100% due to the language, and they still 'credit' your account.

So i reached the 5000 rubles fast but couldn't see if they pay or not since i can't get the 20 referrals, anyway i'm not trying because i read in a few sites and social networks that they don't pay so i just kinda passed. My girl is still trying to get her 20 since she already have 5.

And what i'm looking for is an advise about what could be best to do with my resources. As i said, i have time, domains and hosting, can install scripts if needed, tweak codes if not too complex etc.

I was trying to register in adsense but i was not approved yet. same with CPAlead. I'm basically looking for someone to guide me a little, saying "you can start trying CPA, just pick the keywords that you want (you can use this tool), build a couple of pages about them, and start trying" I wrote about CPA because is what i'm thinking about but maybe it's not good to start there. Or not good to start only there and it must be convined with social networks or dunno.

Then i will share my results. Time dedicated, earnings, etc.

Well, I'm still around. Right now growing a Twitter account that i had for my adults affiliate programs. Reading some info in the forum about twitter, but still i would like to get started in PPC or CPA or something different.

I also was trying to register with one of the leading CPA networks but i was asked to give more details, even when i honestly explained my experience with adult aff programs and i explained that i don't have any mainstream site up and running yet.

Also i couldn't get approved in Guguel ADS. I used the URL of a site that i built and manage for a neighbour but since it's mostly with photos (it's Salon for dogs), they also rejected it. Should i just sit and write a couple of html pages and put them in any random domain that i have? Any other advise?

Finally i got an answer for the CPA network that i was trying to join. They approved my account.

I was thinking about some ways to monetize them with what i currently have, and came up with some ideas. I just wrote to my Account Manager to see if all is right and start working. I just don't want to be banned the first day.

Will keep updating if someone is interested. Else i will simply work and stop posting in this thread.
