I remember last month when browering this forum, I come across a post about a script/tool that can auto find low competitive keyword automatically. you even don't have to enter a keyword.

but i can't find this post now.

do anyone know this kinds of script/tool ?

I used to run a site that would do that but I closed it because it wasn't generating enough revenue. I do have the database.

I think the actual code I used to mine the data won't work anymore because I got around rate limits about a year ago. The data is still good though, you're just going to miss out on anything that popped up recently.

Nicheshark looks good. It's basically the same thing I made but with less keywords.

Anyone know if this is popular? $97 a month, damn. What my site did for free was just let you put in some criteria and get a niche with a button click. Maybe I should reconsider and start selling it ;)

    Thanks Guys.

Nicheshark just the tool which I am looking for.

besides, I want to find some PHP scripts that do the same job.

Mine was PHP but you can't do threads in PHP so I kind of got around it by having a multi threaded python script call the PHP script. It was really because I didn't expect to want it to go so fast and didn't want to rewrite it.

Why PHP specifically though? All goes into a database anyway. A compiled language would definitely be less resource heavy. I seriously could barely use my computer mining that stuff.

PHP is the only language I know, so I just want to find some PHP scripts as an example, then I could learn from it.

Having some example make writing program much easier. :D

It's a really good language for scraping if you don't care much about threading. I just checked though and they killed the way I was doing it. I got output in JSON with no captcha, no rate limiting on IP or anything.

Now it's so complicated it might not even be worth it to emulate what the browser does. It sends all kinds of encoded stuff, receives encoded stuff. You could do it in VB or C# with a webbrowser but it would be slower and might need a captcha once in a while. Maybe even proxies, no idea about that.

i would scrap the data slowly, so PHP lack of thread support is no a big deal.

what do you mean "It sends all kinds of encoded stuff", what is "It" refer to ?

we just need the data from adword api, google search, google pr and backlink from Yahoo Site Explorer.

All these data is easy to get by using PHP(at least I think so).

so I think there is no encoded stuff we need.(Corect me is I was wrong).

Aren't there rate limits on the adwords api? I hate APIs because they're always designed to prevent abuse.
