    I have a list of 20k URLs I don?t want to trim them to root or last folder because most are forums; I want to remove ?member.php? or ?user.php?
    I have scrapebox but it only gives me the option to completely remove the URLs containing,
    I want to change example this blackhatworld.com/forum/member.php
    To this
    blackhatworld.com/forum

    I don't have time to write it but you could use a Regular Expression with the replace function in any advanced text editor (for instance Ultraedit), or code something that does the same thing... but the text editor should do fine!

    Scrapebox can trim to last folder also.

    Edit - just re-read your post and that's not what you need. Sorry.

    Hey Bubba, I'm pretty sure you can get most of it done in Excel.

    1 - You can do a Replace with "member.php" and "user.php" and leave the replace box blank, that will delete all the member.php and user.php.
    2 - You can use the convert option (data/convert) and use the "/" as a divider. Excel will split all the URLS into different columns for each /. You can then sort them by columns and batch delete what you don't want. Once it is done, just put the URLs back together.

    Hope it helps.

    No problem ! Glad it worked. I also love Notepad++.

    My preference order Notepad++ > Ultraedit > Notepad 2.
    All good advanced text editors.
