Well i have bought a new domain and want to replace the existing one with new one and want the same content. Well search engines take it as copied content? Well telling google via webmaster tools and redirecting the previous domain to new one via 301 redirect work? How to tell other search engines about it?
I use - Phpbb (for forum) and Wordpress (for blog) so what i have to do to change the domain?

what you could do is just use the cPanel and use a redirect, the search engines should keep itup for a while as the old domain but same content and people will go directly to your new domain. also, if that doesn't help, try doing a domain forwarding. that usually works. slowly switch it over with the first method and second combined

Probably not the best long term though. If you look in the forums for your blogging platform i bet there is alot of info on this.

Well a 301 (permanent) redirect work? Will Google think that my site's content is original (content would be same in the new domain)?

Yes, I'd use a 301 redirect. With this method there is no duplicate content penalty. Google will try to access your site and the first they find is a 301 redirect to your new domain so they don't access to your old content.
You can also access to your Google webmaster tools and stablish there you want to make a redirect of your domain
