I bought a bunch of computers from a local computer store and I charmed the lady and she sold me 5 for $50 but wouldn't sell me more after I came back. i want to buy used laptops p4 xp for $10 bucks even if I have to buy 100 of them. Anyone know of such a source? I tried liquidation.com but all they seem to have is non-working junk(salvage) units. Thanks !!!!

Maybe the lady got a better offer for her remaining laptops and realized you had charmed her out of a bigger payday. You should go where there are excess PCs about to be dumped, like schools and colleges that are about to get newer PCs, internet cafes, businesses that are about to close or relocate, etc.

I don't know the science of figuring it out, you may just have to call places up and ask, then figure out how to finance the wholesale price if they accept your offer. The more you do this offline, the more likely you can stumble onto real deals--searching for them online makes you run into too many competitors.

Are you sure you want to buy a lot of laptops? What about a couple of servers running vmware with a cblock each OS/cloud server with its own ip? This should be more affordable, faster, and less of a hassle than dealing with 100 laptops

but then again, not sure what you intend to do with the laptops

I'd check your local private schools and universities. They often offer bulk discounts. Also check your local government agencies (not listed on liquidation). You could also put an ad out and i'm sure you'll get responses.
