I want to add a bunch of text to my homepage, but I don't want it visible to visitors.

I am not sure if this is the right spot or not, if you can help, please do.

I just created a pretty big list of misspellings for my main KWs (I only have like 8 so the list isn't that big). I want to add these to my homepage, but I don't want to make my homepage look bad.
How can I add easily add these so that SEs can see them, but normal visitors cannot?

And the list is big enough that making the text "really small" will not really help.

Mm...blackhat intentions or not, keyword stuffing can get you penalized pretty quickly.

Anyway, you can make any element (p, div, span) really and just style it with visibility:hidden; or display:none;.

    So:
    HTML:
    <div style="display:none;">
All my SEO-destroying, site-sandboxing keywords here.
    </div>
I mean, this is a blackhat forum, so you can try it if you want...but usually Google does synonyms automatically if it's a decently-recognizable word.

you could stick them at the bottom of the page, where not many people click, and put the text as the same colour as the backround....

Yeah HannaMontana, keyword stuffing will destroy your rankings. It's old fashioned BH SEO. SEs are so much smarter now.

You can also make the keywords same as the colour your blog or website's background.

But i think you should forget it.

I thank both of you and I think I have come up with a solution that may not 1) get me into the bad w/ big G and 2) show a bunch of whatever text to my visitors.

After posting this I remembered that, built into my theme is a "more content" type tag that I have used before. I used it for my FAQ section.
So in the FAQ, there is a list of questions and when you click one, it expands to a huge paragraph(s) of info. Click it again and it collapses.

What I did was add all of the keys to one of these and insted of naming the tag, I just put a period.

So on my site, you see at the bottom of the page a very small

    +.

Click it and the massive list of KWs come up. It's the same color as my normal text, you can see it

So I am not really "hidein" them.... May this work? - you think?

BTW these are MISSPELLINGS. Not actual keys I don't think - does that matter?

QuietZorg, if you put text with the same color as the background you can be sure that google will kill you.

Yeah whoever said put it as the same color as the background. I'd say don't. First off, the SE's are a lot smarter now.

Second. If you actually want to do it, with basically the same effects, make the text 2 shades off the background color.

You definitely don't need to do this though. There are better ways.

I didn't do that though. It is the same color as all of the other text on the page.

Well, yeah but like I said, it is *sorta* hidden. It's in an expandable box.

You have to hit an almost unoticable button to get the box to expand, but it's not technically "hidden".... I would call it out of the way  But what would google call it.

If you go there and look at the short code called "JQuery Toggle Content Shortcodes", click it and that is what mine does.

The title of mine is "." and the content is my KWs, so you can't see it really unless you click the "+"

You can always make your font size for given text small enough to not get attention from the reader.

Sorry, but this is one of the times that you can't "get the best of both worlds".

OK. So I guess I am just not going to do it. I have been stuck at the same ammount of traffic forever. I can't seem to do anything with the SEs.
Most of my usable traffic comes from promotion. I feel like I have to freaking hand out fliers to get people to my site....
Not sure what to do here.

where are all these noobs coming from, like seriously. KW stuffing like that hasnt
worked in years. You have to be a noob to not know that.

Go to dp and learn the basics and then come back here you'll be doing yourself a
    favor.

Going a popular thread that I read here.
Thought that the fact that the "words" are actually just mispellings may have an impact, but it doesn't matter now. I'm not going to risk it.

if you dont have adsnse on your site make adsnese looking divs and put the keywords, titles and descs in there, same soft colors as big G ads

dont recommend stuffing but if you are going to do it at least it looks fluent and you can place it anywhere you want on the page and possibly get clicks out of it

google will slap you for misspellings as well. If you want to hide text then put it behind images.
