I wanna start 20 niches sites, how do I split hosting / registrar / analytics / webmaster tools?

Is it safe to use only one?

Links will be only social media and PBNs.

Content will be original but very average.

Themes will probably be the default wordpress theme tweaked a bit so all the same theme pretty much.

My plan might be to get to 100 sites or more eventually. How should I split all that?

Some people group everything under one account, but I wouldn't. At the very minimum, I would split the 20 sites between two hosting accounts: And you can set each property under a separate webmaster tool tracking being that it doesn't cost anything extra to do that. And if you eventually want to scale to hundreds of sites, then you really should spread things out then, still I'd say no more than 10 sites grouped per hosting account. If you can do better than that, then by all means Go For It!

I recommend that you get a DigitalOcean account and create a droplet and host 10 websites MAX on each droplet. Although each droplet can host a lot more than that, you should split it to 10 websites MAX so that you don't see as much spikes with your large amount of traffic I presume and so that if your files get deleted or whatever, all websites won't be down and you can restore them easier.

If you want to be on the safe side, don't put all your egg in one basket.
Spit the domain registrar (name.com. namecheap, godaddy etc)
    Spit the hosting.
Want to use webmaster tool? Then split them as well. It is a lot of work and money. But it is worth it.

If you are using PBN backlinks and want to use SC/GWT accounts, 1 account per site is mandatory to avoid more than one site getting hit during a manual review. Same for Analytics if needed.

Hosting for these money sites doesn't matter that much as long as you are using shared hosting with shared IPs. I'd split it anyway, maybe 5 sites per hosting account, so 4 hosting accounts for 20 sites. If you are more comfortable with just one hosting account, that's fine, too. Again: Make sure the IP is shared and it's not just your sites on it. For 100 sites you should definitely split.

As far as the registrar is concerned: Doesn't matter at all, you can use one for all.

I have a bunch of sites myself, and here's what I do:

    - No webmaster tools unless a site really starts taking off.
    - Monitor traffic with something besides Google Analytics, preferably something that allows you to create a dashboard with all of your sites in it. Each site would probably need its own GA account for safety, and speaking from experience that's a pain in the ass to manage and you'll probably end up just not looking at analytics. If a site takes off and I want more data, I install GA as well and check it every now and then.
    - Split the hosting across a few different IP addresses plus put a few on Cloudflare. Use shared hosting to blend in with other sites on the same IP, upgrade if one of your sites starts getting a bunch of traffic.

Edit: agree with the post above mine which gets more specific about hosting

All different hosting, a few different registrars, one statcounter account, new WMT for every site that warrants it IMO

So using statcounter, how do you know which keywords are bringing out traffic? Since google is hiding them, how do people know and keep track for a lot of sites?

    For 10 sites?

5 on go daddy and 5 on name cheap, different whois info for all 10, a single but decent host account, cloud flare half of them, 1 WMT per site.

Most cost effective method but not the most safest.

if you do group under one account I would do a reseller account with a provider that will rotate the Ip for the accounts you set up so they are not all on the same IP

I actually have a reseller with hostgator and they do give me different IPs if I make sites a few weeks apart but if I make the sites at the same time they don't rotate. Is there a way around that?

Two hosting might be the okay for others, but i'll recommend three, and you need to pay annually.
Also register the domain with up to three different webmaster accounts, and ensure you group them according to their hosting plans.'
Also don't overlook the name registerers

Not able to understand: why 1 guy have to create, at the same time, 100 different websites? Is it something about exact match domain technique?

It's important to host your domains to different servers. For registrar, you can have a single registrar for your 20 domains but make sure to get privacy in all of your domains. If you're planning to have more than 25 domains then you should have different registrars and spread out the date when you register it or use different contact information.
