I wanna do some Solo-Travelling next year. What are good countries to visit in 2024?

Visit Georgia or Armenia. These are wonderful countries with amazing cuisine and beautiful mountains.

Bali, Indonesia. Absolutely stunning. I was there last week.. man I wanna go back so bad!!!

Blue water beaches, great people, great vibes, u can party hard as well as well as chill. Got jungle, beaches, mountain all in the same island :)

I don't have any other frame of reference and Im in the similar boat as you, I want to travel more but I'm super glad I started with Bali.
Next is vietnam and thailand for me :)

Better go to Mediterranean countries in Europe:

- The weather is perfect in some of these places. Warm and pleasant, not hot and humid like tropical areas urgh, nor dry and hot like Egypt.
- The best food in the world. It's varied too. On the eastern side (Greece/Turkey) you'll get Asian influence, but going towards the west, you have Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese cuisines. You won't get that spectrum in Southeast Asia.
- Awesome culture. Monuments, castles, ancient ruins.
- Insane beaches and lagoons. No need to go in the middle of the ocean to experience paradise islands with beautiful clear waters.

On top of that, you'll start thinking more often about the Roman Empire, just like real men do :D.

You should come to India if you love historical places. If you need assistance, I would love to join you and show you some great Indian places. We can explore together and make the most of your visit.

For solo travelling, it depends on how brave you are.

If you fall sick, or you have an accident, it's not going to be the same to find solutions on your own and on a hard situation in Burkina Faso than Luxembourg… so I would rather not go to 4th world countries on a solo trip. Most people I see that are solo biking around the world and all that shit I'm 100% aware that they simply have decided not to think about these things.

Personally, I have in my list places like Turkmenistan and Mongolia, for example, but preferably not alone.

For solo travelling, I would skip Asia all at once, unless you have any particular fetish with Japan.

As you have already stated, Australia, Iceland, maybe Argentina or Chile. European East Countries (Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia), things like this, or the northern ones if you have not already visited them

Visit Cox's Bazar, (Bangladesh) the largest sea beach in the world, you will love the sea and the environment also it won't cost you that much and if you ever decides to visit Cox's bazar anytime you can send me a DM will help you with some pro tips to not get scammed

Any suggestion is welcome. Budget is not a problem but i'd rather have a moderate one, instead of going full nuts. Ideally the people there are friendly and approachable. I've been thinking about Hong Kong, or some other asian countries, but i am open for any suggestion.

Thanks
Consider Singapore or Japan for a balance of modern amenities and friendly locals. Both offer rich cultural experiences and are known for their safety and cleanliness.
But Indonesia, Bali is one of my fav yet.

I will vote for albania. Europe
Moderate price ,friendly people, excellent food, beautiful beaches ,a lot to see and do digital nomad friendly. Top recommended in tourism magazines

Book a first class to north Korea, and plan activities with kim jong un and Scottie pippen these guys know how to have fun and you will be with the supreme leader so you dont have to pay for transportation its all included, and if you feel awkward with supreme leader, for some odd reason Scottie Pippen will be the one to break the ice between all sides. so all good. If you dont feel like chilling with supreme leader, and want to be rich and famous while going on vacation overnight and then becoming a journalist all one day. Get 1 go pro camera, and 4 drones north west east south, and go to epstien island somewhere in us virginia islands or someshit (Look for it on gps), then record everything, run around for 20 seconds on the island (RECORDED) and run back to the boat and edit and post on Youtube/Twitter. Not only you will have a adventurous trip, you will become overnight #1 Independent journalist on twitter and will make millions per year.

All jokes aside, Philippines looks nice and different. Never been, seen alot of travel vlogs. Every Filipino ive met are nice people, so I can imagine there.

Give a try to Vietnam. It is a wonderful country under budget. If you have a huge budget, undoubtedly go for Swiss.

Although many people have told many countries, I think it would not be right to give advice without knowing what you like.

You should definitely check out Rwanda. A country in Africa. The culture and exploration is amazing

Considering your preferences for moderate budget and friendly locals, Southeast Asia is a fantastic choice. Countries like Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia offer rich cultural experiences, beautiful landscapes, and welcoming communities. Hong Kong is a vibrant option too, blending modernity with tradition. But make sure to conduct a proper research for each destination's current travel status and safety guidelines, and go for the one that resonates most with your interests and vibe. Safe travels!
