I thought Chitika was an "alternative to adsense"?!

On Adsense I was getting around $2.00 per click.

I tried 7Search, which averaged $0.06 per click on the same traffic.

I tried Clicksor, which averaged $0.01 per click.

I search these forums and the majority of people seemed to indicate that Chitika was the best, highest paying Adsense alternative. After a month (and being upgraded to a "gold" publisher) I'm still only getting $0.02 for the same traffic.

Are there any other networks other than Google/Yahoo/Bing) that pay more than $0.50 per click for anything? Is this a 2 horse race? I've got Loans, Insurance, Lawyers and Gambling sites. All the big hitters. 7Search and Clicksor were charging $0.25 to $2.00 per click if I were to advertise (that's why I tried them), but I never got paid more than $0.01 to $0.06 per click?

nothing of the alternatives come close to adsense, as long as you can use adsense you can stop searching for alternatives

Even if you are banned, you can always get another adsense account

But it's a pain. Google are very picky. For example, they informed us this month on the 20th (days before payment was due) that our account was banned. That means we lost all the revenue earned during May AND most of June!

So having already lost 2 months revenue, even if we get another adsense account, whatever we earn in July we won't get till August. So a Google ban loses us 2 months work PLUS delays any further payments for an extra 2 months.

Why don't you look around with some affiliate offers?

The only real alternative to Adsense out there, in terms of both amount of earnings, ease of moneymaking, and IM risk management is CPA. With the right set-up you can make more money with CPA, and since you can join several different affiliates, you're not out of luck if one giant company bans you.

    Chitika blows.

Try media.net. They do yahoo and bing's ads. I haven't tried them yet. Never got around to putting it on my sites that Google banned. So I have no idea what they pay.
