Hey, so I have around 30-35 emails all logged into Thunderbird. This weird thing has been happening since quite a sometime but I didn't pay attention.

Now, when we setup our emails in Thunderbird, we need an App Access password (different from your regular email password) for microsoft and yahoo emails but that's not the case with Gmails. Gmails just pop up a window where we have to enter pass and OTP.

So, as I have all those emails and half of them are MS emails, I did enter the app access password when I set up those emails in Thunderbird. From time and time, it will show that it failed to login and I need to re-enter the app pass and I thought okay so I did. Till now this has happened 4 times and I lost 2 MS emails because of that.

I have 2-factor authentication via google authenticator, 2 factor via email, recovery codes of those emails and still I lost two MS email accounts. Just now lost 1 and a couple of weeks ago I lost another one.

I contact live chat and I was advised to reset the account and I did that by putting 2-factor OTPs and changing pass. I reset the account 3 times but still when I log in to the account using the new pass, and tried to check emails, I get this:

Even when I enter the phone number, it says service unavailable.

I don't know why Thunderbird would create the problem with MS emails and not yahoo and gmails.

So, yeah just thought to warn you guys in case anyone plans to set up all their 30 or 40+ or 400+ emails into Thunderbird. Be careful.

And, any other way to manage all those emails? I receive emails almost in each of them per day, so need to open and see all those emails every day. And using a browser to open all those emails is almost making me sick lol.

Is there anyway fellas? How do you all manage your multiple emails?

Have been using Thunderbird for years and it was great, unfortunately recently it does seem to less useful and does kick up errors more frequently.
Did have a look at some other mail programs but didn't find anything suitable, so if anybody has some recommendations it would be appreciated.

Haven't tried then and never been a fan of Outlook, looks like the best mail apps are now cloud/online apps but I like to have my mail locally on my desktop machines.

Ah yes, Opera mail is almost to the end.

The Bat does look good. I'm also thinking about Postbox and Mailbird.

Looks like Mailbird offer a reasonable lifetime price, might take a look.

Blimey, reminds me of getting pissed on the school playing fields during lunchtime. Set you up for a good afternoon of Maths, Science and Woodwork.
