Is it possible that my ISP has blocked scrapebox? I've heard of this before but I've been harvesting public proxies and getting 100% 404 errors. I also imported some proxies but they also are all dead. I've never seen this happen before. :(

not sure how they would only block SB, they would most likly just block your IP and shut down your account. Just call them and say you were having a LAN party or something...

It's Scrapebox man, not your ISP. The proxy harvester is getting useless now. Find public proxies online.

jerzydawg is correct, the SB proxy gives you completely crap proxies (around 4/2000 work), but try ticking the "ignore google" checkbox. It is not your isp.

I don't think an ISP can ban you for using software. It might block a port though. I remember when torrents were new, most ISP's in India went on a rage blocking frequently used ports by Bit Torrent software. But, otherwise it might just be the case of using the wrong proxies. My recommendation, get 10 proxies with Squid proxies, which offers the cheapest private proxies. They have a thread on BHW too.
