for the past weej i got two warnings on a dummy google account that its been accessed by a less secure app from an other location, i thought maybe it's just a plugin on my firefox that's causing this so ignored it, today i launched my facebook and i got a message that someone tried to access my account from brazil.now i know for sure that my computer is infected but i really don't know what to do,. i havent done a fresh windows install since i bought the computer it's been 3 years now, usually i'm very careful when it comes to downloading .exe files and online virus scan anything i download, i'm accessing my main gmail on a virual machine just in worst case senarios. i know doing a fresh window install is my best option but i have 225GB worth of data on my hard drive, there are things im doing on my machine that wont work again after a new windows install and i'm worried i might forget backing up something. i'm running malwarebytes while typing this and it detected some malwares but i don't know if deleting it is enough

Try Hitman Pro. You can download a 30-day trial here. It saved my ass more than once.

PS: I have moved this thread to the BlackHat Lounge. One more thing: You can also try running Malwarebytes from Safe Mode. There are times when that has worked for me as well. :)

As i have always said - AVs won't help you against something even moderately competent.
Your best option is to reinstall OS, only preserving the files that you have to - then running tools like Regshot to see exactly what changes are made to the registry and when - along with checking all your active outbound and inbound connections (if you find anything suspect then you can ip ban).

Meanwhile, change all the passwords to your accounts (like gmail, facebook, IG) on another PC and enable 2FA for maximum security.
