Most people already know they dropped their limits recently, especially for botted accounts.

Anyway, I have some botted accounts that were going along at about 300 follows per day, 50 second intervals between follows. So pretty tame, and a few just got hit with a temp ban on following. Not all but a few, and we know IG rolls out changes slowly, not to everybody at once.

So this could just be those accounts. Buy my guess is IG is about to roll out even stricter follow/unfollow limits.

Just letting you guys know. But I think follow/unfollow may be ending soon. The only purpose is to build accounts unnaturally, and seriously no real user needs to follow more than 20-50 people per hour. I doubt real users follow more than 10-20 hour after the first few weeks.

Thanks for the heads up. Were you taking daily and weekly breaks to make it appear more humanlike or just botting to the max? I've been staying under 600 follows a day since February and stopping the bot at night time, no problems so far. Don't forget to stop your bot for a whole day once a month or so, that should help with flagging.

nothing lasts forever, so for now just make some money with it while it's working. no need to predict or think about the future, it only gives fear and anxiety.

True! They've been saying the same thing for a long time now. I've learned not to think about it anymore. If it's gonna happen, so be it! ;)

It was just information, do with it as you see fit.

IG doesn't roll out algo changes all at once. It tests them on some accounts first. That's why I said some of my accounts got hit and some didn't despite running near exact settings.

Not meant to scare anyone, just information.

Also, I was only botting 5-6 days a week. 10 hours off per day. Very tame settings on the ones got the temp action ban.

the problem is your delay, use a much larger span like 10-100 seconds instead of a specific one.

I don't think that will ever happen. Instagram allows follow/unfollow from third party apps because they give out their API for that. So they can make updates all they want and there will always be ways to automate it. The only thing I can see being an issue with Instagram is automatic posting because that's something they don't allow from PC. Still, many ways to combat it.

That's a spam account or a bot test, I think.

This is the second one I've seen today. It basically repeats another post in the thread, rearranges/removes sentences and adds a word or two.

If i understand correctly this is just a random guess from your side? You don't actually have any information backing up your statement?

there are always people who predict something "seo is dead" ect ....
everybody grows the accounts right now like this on the beginning and if it is really dead there will be something new ;)

When you're saying something like this, you should provide us some evidence us some evidence that serves as a back up of your argument.

You can assume, that follow/unfollow might get stricter, but don't you think, stating that it will completely end is too much?
This can't possibly die completely. don't be too negative ;)

This is part of an email I received from Hootsuite:

On June 1, 2016, Instagram is rolling out a few policy changes that apply to all partner platforms, including Hootsuite.

After that date, you may experience these changes in your dashboard:
    • Home and Popular streams will no longer be supported
    • An additional click will be required to see username ‘Likes’ (iOS only for mobile)
    • Other users’ followers and who they’re following will be confidential (mobile app only)
    • A maximum of 60 ‘Likes’ per hour allowed
I don't use Hootsuite but would this effect how many times my account is liking photos through automation?
I hope Instagress will make some sort of statement regarding the matter.
