Hey, so I'm sitting here watchign Die hard 3 havin a good ol time, and my blackberry starts vibrating, an email from blizzard saying that my world of warcraft password is being changed, and to click the link to confirm the change, then it goes off again saying i get another email, this time its saying that my account is being transferred to another email and to click the link to confirm.

I went and checked my gmail inbox on my laptop, and neither of the emails can be found, the only evidence of this is on my phone emails. I also havnt played WoW since like august when I cancelled my account. I am thoroughly confused and dont know what to do.

I thought that too, but they are the legit blizzard noreply@blizzard.com email adresses and I cant log into my blizzard account.

my account management was apparently transferred to "xiaossss35@hotmail.com" whoever the fuck that is

I know, right? My pc came up as clean, and my mac supposedly "doesnt get viruses." idk, I'm just worried bc the account has all my billing info and stuff. I changed all my email passwords and everything so hopefully that does something. So inconvenient.

did you download anything from here recently? Apparently a bunch of nasty infections were uploaded lately and peoples accounts are getting trashed.

I'd figure out how to scan... From what I've read the people who were infected had to do a full wipe and restore to get rid of it.

Also, Macs can and do get infected. It's just more rare because the user base is smaller so most virus builders don't target them.
