My website went from #2 on Google, to #11. They publicly came out with the changes on November 18, but I am convinced that they implemented it on the 14th. At the time I had recently done a 301 redirect and I thought that might have been the problem (and it may have) but after reading so many panda horror stories online I am starting to think that it has affected my website. One theory suggests that it may have been the above the fold content, my website has mainly call to action buttons, and then the content below. Another theory is that because my website has 2 hyphens in the url that I was penalized for looking like a spam site. I was not able to obtain the domain that did not contain the hyphens until after I had started working on the website. Do you think I should do a 301 redirect to the .net or .org site that I now own or do you think that would just make things worse. Has anyone had any success coming back from the Panda update? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The site in question is k2-herbal-incenses(dot)com Thanks, Seomonopolist.
