    I did a little research with market samurai and found a really good longtail search phrase. It's related to music production and there's lot of products in this are that I could promote.

    Anyway, this key phrase gets searched around 10,000 / per month (exact match) and heres a little SEO competition stats on top10 websites for that keyword via Market Samurai:

    [IMG]

    DA = Domain Age

    PR = Pagerank

    IC = Index Count (number of pages this domain has indexed in google)

    BLP = Page Backlinks (total number of backlinks pointing to a specific URL)

    BLD = Domain Backlinks (total number of backlinks pointing to any page of this domain)

    BLEG = .edu/.gov backlinks

    DMZ = Dmoz directory

    YAH = Yahoo directory

    Title = Keyword in title?

    URL = Keyword in description?

    Head = Keyword in header tag?

    CA = Google Cache Age = Number of days since Google last reindexed the page

    --------

    Looking at the top two sites, it should be quite easy to get to top 1-3.

    What do you think?

    Looks very easy. Get yourself SENuke and do about 3 link wheels and power up the tier 2 sites. About 5 .edu backlinks, a .com with the keyword in it will help a lot too (does not have to be exact match)

    Good idea.

    I also have the Scrapebox so that might come handy in a situation like this as well. :)

    I agree. Program a site with great on-site SEO...build some quality links and own #1 spot in a couple of months (maybe sooner)

    6 or 7 of the top10 sites are actually affiliate sites. They are built just to promote products. What does that tells us?

    If that is not a "fleeting" product (but instead generates searches for many months) that's good for you; I would register a domain containing that keyword right now

    Great catch and no need to waste any further time... You don't need anyone's advice, it's def. good keyword... 10k search and available product in market to promote with virtually no competition... What else people ask :)

    So, these days I used a lot MS and also watched the videos from their site and learned a lot of interesting stuff.

    For you i have a question. What's the PBR of that keyword? Because if it's low there'a problem.
    And a personal question, what's the competition for that keyword? MS recommands to search for keywords with a competition smaller than 30k, but maybe your keyword, which is super, has a bigger competition, but as seen, a very weak one.

    PBR is 100 %.

    Competition is 475k.

    Ha, you found gold man.

    But if you dont take in count SEOC what filters do you use ?

    And 10k local searches or globally?

    Yeah, so far this seems to be pretty awesome keyword / niche..

    Well I'm not expert in MS nor in keyword research, but when I'm doing basic research, so far these settings (in keyword research -tab) have worked for me allright:

    Globally.

    I have now bought a domain (containing the search phrase) for this, but actually I'm not sure whether I should create a salespage -type one-paged website (like my competitors), or normal blog posting content around this same subject and of course trying to target this keyword... ?
