During my niche search I stumbled on a product that may have a potential to start a website and start making some $.

It's those toys called Webkinz. Google gives you 5,300,000 results for word "Webkinz". But if you check the Wordtracker it gives 53147 results and Google daily estimation is 66,434, so there's quite a bunch of people searching for these toys every day so it seems there's demand for these and based on Google results it doesn't seem over saturated yet and also there's a lot of other merchandise related to those toys which you can try to sell or affiliate. ... what do you think?

Yeah, I just got my daughter one. You buy the toy, register it on the website, and start playing with it. It is seriously like an RPG game where you build up the animals strength, speed, all that.

Sounds good and put up some cpa offers....just do some social media and a heavy content site..:)

I was planning to put up a blog and forum related to this toy. Now I only need to start finding that content somewhere :)

been there done tht worn the t shirt lol. had a bans site going last yr doing this. was going well but had few probs with bans script and shit. i have 2 sites for sale if anyone interested.. both webkinz related

Only 5.3m results? Man, that's not too bad. I own 2.5m and 8.4m result niches in Google right now, so I'd be able to, with sufficient work, to own webkinz. And the volume (~50K searches) looks pretty good.

But I have a better idea. Look at some of the long tail terms, e.g. 'webkinz codes' (10K searches, 707K results) and 'webkinz secret codes' (8K searches, 463K results). Looks easy to dominate those two. I have absolutely no clue what this is about, but it's information, and I bet an ebook would sell like HOTCAKES for those keywords.

Just a free idea from Uncle Joe :)

And that's an great idea! I will break into it.. hopefully :D

Misspelled webkinz - webkins (5000 queries a day) and 100 times less competitive :p

First thing I did was looked to see if Webkins.com was taken. It is. So is WebKin.com

If I ever get all my 25 other sites done, I will start my Pokemon and Webkinz empire.

hmm I think I setup a BANS site and start driving traffic there for starters..

My daughter has like 50 of these damn things, her friends have dozens of these things too.
I just wish Id came up with the idea, its actually pretty cool. Yea it is kinda like an online rpg, it sure hooks the kids.

Yes, it is a profitable niche if you do it right.

The problem is that kids don't have $$$, so I think if you build a online shop or BANS site, you should target their parents instead of the kids.

Or simple buy some content and build a AdSense site with colorful Ads to let them click! I'm sure kids are less Ad blindness. :D

I know, I want to come up with a card game that turns into a cartoon show and video games like Yugioo and Pokemon.

The creators of those games have to be making so much friggin money.

do you want to make $$$ from selling this thing? or what way?

it almost seems as ANYTHING that kids want could be a good niche as parents will spend unlimited amounts and go through hoops to make our children happy.

i have 3 kids and we own lots of webkinz. those beanie baby creators are brilliant. as we have to get the new ones all the time. its fascinating to see the online experience with these animals as its like secondlife for kids.

anyhow, any niche for kids i think could be a money maker. miley cyrus was here in vegas a few months ago and getting tickets were crazy. i spent $700 bucks to get my 11 year old and wife to the concert.

hahaha...most of you are too young likely...but tickle me elmo in 1993 when i was in college and working at wal-mart was unreal. FIST FIGHTS broke out in lay-away.
