    ---- THREAD CLOSED 07/22/2013 ----
I am currently making around $185 a day with CJ. They sent me this.
    Code:
"Commission Junction Warning of Potential Account Termination"
    They are asking for:
    Code:
"Please explain how you are primarily promoting and driving traffic for advertisers."
"Also, please explain why we have seen a handful of transactions originating from your own IP address(es)/computer(s)."
I don't check my emails so I wasn't able to respond in time. The last email was 2 days ago. I just responded today. My traffic is legit and I don't buy from my advertisers. I think they are going to ban me for not replying and take around 10k of my money.

    Anyone have any similar experiences?

Explain that to them along with any screenshots that you can show to prove it.

I had a similar experience a while back, although I was doing shady things. I covered up by saying I was doing email marketing.

CJ are very on the ball as a network.

Yeah you better make sure to call them and try to get it ironed out. Don't ignore their requests for documents and analytical data because then you really will not get paid and then will shut down your account for not responding. Gather up some of your data to show them, give them a call, and show your concern. They will help you out if you have the data to show that you are not using "unethical" techniques.

I don't have anything shady going on. They are all legit. I have free blog websites and my own domains that are in the serps generating traffic.
I am just worried that I did not reply in time. I did not know that something is wrong until I did not get my money this month.

Well try to explain them how you got the traffic and how you promoting the offers. Try explaining in briefs with proofs with videos or screenshot. If you have not done anything wrong don't worry about it.Just get into touch with them.

The last message they gave is this
    Code:
We have not heard from you concerning your request for support in the 72 hours since we sent you a response. Consequently, we have changed the status of your question to SOLVED.
What does SOLVED mean? I didn't get to respond in time. I did not get my paycheck so this is not good. I tried calling them but they are not open until Monday.
The thing that makes me believe that they are going to steal my income is that I think they purposely sent the email at July 02. So that I won't know anything is wrong until the 20th. By that time, the 15 day window is gone so they can terminate my account. $12,000 is a lot of money.

Also, why would they say this? It is not even true and its a lie. It makes me believe that they are just looking for excuses to terminate my account to get my money.
    Code:
[COLOR=#FFFFCC]"Also, please explain why we have seen a handful of transactions originating from your own IP address(es)/computer(s)."[/COLOR]

Solved mean solve in the way they favor since you not reply.

The story will change if they send the notification at 18th. It will be like this: CJ steal my income and should contact me earlier if they found my traffic have problem, why only near the payout date and not on 2nd July? They want my traffic to make them more money and terminate me when pay date come.

Ask them the billing & paying card is same? Why would affiliate got to check with IP add(es) & computer(s) instead of sales? The IP you using is dynamic and why can't other use it and since it's handful of transactions why they held the payment/not calling you to verify after no respond for $12k check?

Here's why they need 15 days for me to respond which is why I think they sent it on July 02.

"Failure to respond shall be deemed anadmission of liability and acceptance of this letter as 15 days notice of termination, and may result in Commission Junction exercising its right to terminate the Commission Junction Publisher Service Agreement 15 days from the date of this written notice or sooner."

If you aren't guilty of unethical methods then you shouldn't be worrying. Seems fishy that offers were filled out from your ip address. If you actually made over 10,000 dollars , they wouldn't just scam a top earning affiliate, they would rather keep you on their network and making them sales.

So if they are about to terminate your account, you must be doing something wrong. If you're not guilty like you say you are, then simply send them some proof.

How could you not check your emails when this is clearly one of your main income streams? Plus, the offers being completed from the same IP does seem fishy too, its like a robot doing the whole thing.

If you know you have not done anything wrong and your traffic is legit, all they require from you is an explanation. So, open a support ticket and give them the explanation that they require.

It is always important that you check your emails regularly. Particularly so when that email is associated with your affiliate accounts.

I got that email too. They let you work until almost payout and then you get that email. If your traffic is legit you should get your money. They are hoping your traffic is not legit so they can keep your money. They kept mine but I was against their TOS.

That is the thing that is making me worry. I have not used my affiliate links to buy from my advertisers to get a discount. They shouldn't even say that.
Plus, I have 8 computers and 4 different IPs that I frequently change because I run a lot of programs. WTH is that. They seem to want to keep the money that I earned. My traffic is legit, but the thing that worries me is that I wasn't able to reply in time. They already SOLVED or closed the case. I have to wait for their reply or call them tomorrow.

Programs which do what exactly? What type of offers are you promoting? I really don't think CJ is in the business of cheating affiliates. I don't understand why you aren't checking your email either. 15 days is plenty of time to reply and they probably would of paid you if you did.

Programs that create backlinks. My traffic comes from g00gle. I use all my time creating websites then running my programs to each website everyday. I check cj.com and amazon.com all the time but I don't check my emails because usually there is nothing there.

Communication is always the key of resolving such issues. I had similiar problems with amazon and other aff networks. I guess it is normal everywhere to get manually checked over time. So dont panic just communicate with eveyone you can from cj.com.

Have you rang them yet to find out what's going on? Please tell me you're not playing email ping pong over ten thousand dollars? They love people who just curl over and accept everything they're being told. Pro-active people who actually care about their business would be straight on the phone to them.
