I suddenly lost about 300 followers last night. How could that happened?

You suddenly lost followers because you try to spamming on websites where you got lots of visitors. That's why lots of Internet marketers build their email list where you can increase your visitors on daily basis
Kamalchandel, your post makes no point whatsoever, I don't see how that's related with his loss of followers?
Anyway, OP, I think best explanation is that those were fake accounts. Last few days people reported their accounts being banned/disabled, so yea, IG is deleting fake accounts again I guess.
