I see a lot of people selling course or workshop - How it helps ?

I believe 99% content on web is just branding or marketing.
These days a lot of people selling time management workshop, business growth workshop, ppt creation course workshop.

Are they scammers?
Are they doing this for popularity?
Or job less community found a new way to earn selling their knowledge.

What exactly it is? How it helps? Is it a part of branding?

I think the lockdown made many people look inward as well as discover more potential within and assess priorities properly.

Selling workshop or whatever you see trending means there's a market for it.

Many remote workshops came forth instead of the conventional in person workshops, so buying a resource online might seem practical and economical for many.

They're using paid Ads to acquire leads and then reinvest that money
That's all there is to it.

Even if you make 2X return on each session, it's still profitable

In my opinion, good courses are a little more expensive, but worth the money if you are really interested learning something.
Cheap courses get cheap results.

If you are a professional shoemaker, then it is more profitable for you to learn how to repair boots online instead of repairing boots. You work for the course once, then it works for you. Temporary business model of our time.
