    OK...I screwed up last night and went into my blog and tried to change the html around to change the colors. My text is all screwed up now and my colors are all weird. Is there anyone out there who is really good with html who will just take a look at my Word Press theme and fix it back to normal for me? If you know html, it will probably only take a minute or 2. Please help...my blog is unreadable and I am freaking out...:eek:

    Thanks so much!

    In the file style.css change the rules for #middle to

    Code:
    #middle {
      background-color:#FFFFFF;
      color:#FFFFFF;
      margin:0pt auto;
      width:800px;
    }

    This will give your #middle div a width of 800px, which will expand it to over the whole content area and a white background. Hope that will help you out.

    Also... Your sidebar looks a little bit maleplaced with the black board on the top. It looks like it's 1 pixle misplaced. You can either edit the css to get rid of the top bprder or change the linetable 2 to something like follows...

    Code:
    .linetable2 {
      background:whitesmoke none repeat scroll 0%;
      border:1px dotted #000000;
      margin:5px;
      padding:2px;
    }

    Also note.. I only made some fast cheking in FF with Firebug and it might not be all ok in IE, even though I think it will be... Guess you have to try it out yourself to see ;)

    You should also add some background color to the credits div.

    Code:
    .credits {
      background-color:#FFFFFF;
      color:#666666;
      font-size:0.8em;
      font-weight:normal;
      text-decoration:none;
    }

    So... If you want to use these CSS rules... Just cut and paste them over your old ones and it should work.

    hum... I just clicked on one of your posts and see a whole different layout...

    If you wanted to use that one it looks like you have assigned a totally different template for the main domain and/or is calling the wrong css file.

    A really simple way is to just re-upload your theme to your server that will straighten most things out

    Just ask you host if they have back up's and then do a restore to a time just before you did the F up

    If you messed with the thml, remove it all. Because you've probably added deprecated code or styles to html tags. By simply removing them it will revert to the css for layout. OR just do as antx says above, which is actually the easiest way and renders this post useless. :D
