Early last Month when i had more free time on my hand from School, i put up sites promoting some products and for each of them i ranked on Number 1 on google ..... with just <3 hours of linkbuilding work .... these sites took less than 5 days to rank.

NB:I do not use any automation tools to build the backlinks. I drop links by hand, 3 hours work give or take.

I just opened a blogger account took some fresh template from bloggertheme and did reviews on 6 clickbank products, 4 were about to launch and for all of them i ranked number 1 on google before the launch.

NB:Though the on-site Optimization took me more time altogether.

Remember these are highly competitive terms i ranked for and have remained no 1 since then.

Google "emerald 11" & "fanpage dollars 3.0" & "traffic bandits" (without the quotes) . All the sites on 1st are blogspots and i used the same theme on all of them.

Each time i have ranked for the official & unofficial names of these products before launch but i haven't made a dime not a dollar on or after launch

NB:some seem to be wobbling a bit on the ranking but they ultimately remain on page 1 btw 1st and 2nd positions.

All Three of the products are clickbank products. The hits keep coming but no sales. i am bombed, soon i'll be heading back to school with my hands full and no more time for IM.

Maybe somehow buyers are cutting me out of the sales or CB products have become S#*t! forgive my french!

NB: As of last night i have automated the linkbuilding process so building these links shouldn't take me 1 hour.

I don't know which products to promote next any suggestions?

IM Hint: Quick & thorough Indexation of your Backlinks is as important as the backlinks themselves.

UPDATE: Replies are saying search count, search count, search count isn't impressive. Good & Well. But you can't Possibly know search count of a product that has not launched yet. Google Keyword gives you a number a month after.
I only get to choose which product i promote, on the credibility of the marketer behind it.
But it doesn't make it any less competitive. IF ANYONE DARE LET HIM/HER TRY AND RANK FOR A POPULAR CB LAUNCH.

There are some sites that Dedicate themselves to promoting Clickbank products week-in week-out. There is money to be made.

Doesn't matter if you're #1 on google if nobody is interested and searching for that product.

    Exact global searches:

    emerald 11: 390
    fanpage dollars: 140
    traffic bandits: 110

    1) No offense but your ad pages suck. They look unprofessional, you need to provide way more opportunities to click through to the sales page and you don't make a compelling sales argument. People are no doubt Googling for other, more genuine, reviews afterwards and then doing the final buyer click through from other people's sites. Remember that the last cookie gets the sale with CB.

    2) Don't iframe sales pages with autoplay videos on them. ;)

edit: And what Biju said. Anything you can get #1 for with a couple hours of manual linking isn't a competitive keyphrase.

it doesn't meter if you get 1st position in G, but your products are not popular, better look for popular products and you will have sales for sure :)

If you really think so try ranking for a Clickbank launch and see how easy it is?

See if you rank on the day of the launch! All those sites ranked on the day of the launch.

All my competitors use scrapebox & Xrumer. I know everyone of them. Some have personal VPS were they host this things and Blast.

But at every launch they came up behind me!

I have ranked for more competitive terms with those links, i am just disappointed at the CB products.

_Biju_ On the search count i am aware of it. But it doesn't stop these guys from paying $200/month to maintain a VPS acc.

There is money to be made. I think it is the cookie stuff.

How much traffic you get ? I think your reviewed products aren't that popular. What is gravity?

Whatever you can rank in a week really isn't hard competition...

The big keywords take months with no guarantee.. Of course, the bigger your budget, the better your chances

forget this and go for high gravity product that is where the competition and money is. if you find it competitive it means there is money in it. to cut your google trust with new site i would advise you to buy aged domain so you can start ranking straight out of the gate. regards

You need to accept responsibility for your own failures if you want to move forward and be successful. Seriously and without aiming to be personally offensive, your ad pages are awful, and you need to accept that and start learning how to build a page that converts.

Also, the reason turbopugsleylx asked for hit numbers is that he, like the rest of us, suspect that you've only sent a miniscule amount of traffic, and not enough to be able to determine whether the products convert in any statistically valid way.

    Hey mate :)

Find keywords that will get you more traffic. You need traffic! Target new keywords. Your current keywords are hardly searched for. Also, work on your sales pitch. Getting the traffic is only half the battle :)

I guess the only thing you can do is wait, and in your free-time, keep checking if your sites are number one. It might just be the fact that the products are new, but if one of them becomes popular you will start to see the money rolling in.

Autumn i see you are taking this personally. So my failures would then be that i am not a good salesman. Well i know a hundred others like me who'd rather add only images of the products, and just try to rank, at the end they still make their rankings worth.

And it isn't that i can't write a good sales page, i was in too much of a hurry i never reviewed any of those pages. remember I had 6 of them to write and rank.

Autumn you know what out of curiousity try ranking for a CB product about to launch, a popular one, then you would wonder more at my work and less at my disappointment. Chump!

So, you come asking for help & suggestions and you get angry when constructive criticism comes your way?

Maybe you should listen to these people who, in one way or another, have been in your shoes.

    Experience is the best teacher...;)

LOL. I'm just giving some friendly advice to someone who is obviously new to this, it's up to you whether you take it or not. Lesson one: you have to set your sites up to convert, or else it doesn't matter how much traffic you throw at them - you won't make a dime.

YOU were the one who came here bitching about not making any money when it's quite clearly your own fault and no one else's.

The solution to your problem is quite simple: fix your ad pages (which are so bad they would actively discourage people from signing up), then get some more traffic. The emerald11 sales page is OK, the other two suck ass, but at this stage most of the fault lies with you.

Suck it up and go fix it rather than ranting at me just because I told you something you don't like. Sorry if my tone sounds abrasive, but if you can't handle the truth, don't go posting on message boards.
