Well I started by buying all the books and videos for Woddies CCI just to find out it is not working
Later on I use pattern - got idea - program it - test demo 3 months - test cent 3 months - trade big account
I took loan of 15k USD which I repaid first year

Tip: Try to buy car parts/body kits from ebay then resell on your country/near countries. You can get traffic from ADS or free traffic from facebook groups (let me know if u want targeted groups). Buy 4-5 pieces first, then scale up. Dropshipping sucks because customers dont want to wait 1-2 months, thats why its better to buy them first

I actually have been doing this under my personal account quite some time, I have developed quite a good name for myself in some larger groups from my country and am hoping the good name follows over when I launch my brand fully. I always enjoying expanding though so if you want to share some of your groups you use then I will gladly PM you!

Hahahaha! Thanks man I really love that compliment! I have always had a knack for making extra money doing something "crazy" in others eyes. Just recently saw the huge benefit in the contradicting skill set of developed over the years.

    Update 2/16

Okay so I set up a schedule of sorts for my work days. I plan on sticking to daily or bi daily updates in the morning about how the previous day went. Things are slightly slow at the moment due to me being stuck working on a friends mini cooper a few hundred dollars but once this is done(hopefully today) I'm expecting to see results begin to grow quicker.

So Yesterday I started refreshing myself on adobe illustrator and created two t shirt designs. Its been some time since I have used illustrator. If anyone has any tips I would definitely appreciate it! I had a meeting with my webdesign client to show him what I call the "skeleton" of the site, which is just the theme we are using and main pages setup. No real content has been added yet so I did a little research and have been brainstorming on what kind of content would be optimal for me to create. I also worked out some of the deal for the web store with him. I agreed to create the store portion for free and will charge for product adding and any additional content.

I have progressively tried to warm the client up to the idea that they need to grow there social media presence which is severely lacking at the moment. Ive been planning on writing up a real proposal to him on the idea and show him why he needs me to build it for him. Hopefully if that goes well ill be able to rope in some extra income from this job.

Yesterday as you saw on my last update I purchased the Website domain hosting and shopify plan. I setup all the hosting, installed wordpress onto the site, set the theme up and began writing my main pages. I am at a crossroads on what to do though. Do you guys think it would be better to implement shopify into my wordpress site and basically make my webstore and blog all one site or should i create a sub domain like shop.example.com to create a site just for the store portion. Or would it be better to just link across my site over to the shopify store they provide? I'm not quite sure which id like to do yet but my ears are open you have any advice or ideas!

I also did a little market research on other products i could offer to my audience. Once I receive the rest of the money from my web design job my next step is going to acquire all of my proper business licenses and such (need to read up on what I should do. Ive been thinking about a sole proprietorship) once this is taken care of I will begin jumping through the hoops of becoming a authorized dealer of a big name suspension company in my niche. With that ill be able to resell there products legally. When I make that happen I have hopes it will grow my authority in my niche even more when people know they can get amazing products like that through my company.

I had some tshirts sell last month on teepuplic and redbubble. I should have the payments go through into my paypal today or tomorrow. I will be using that money to do some FB ad testing and try to find a profitable ad.

Today while I wait for that money to process I will be outside laboring away putting this subframe back into a mini cooper (What a bitch!) but I also plan on making a few more designs to continue practicing. Since my website is not functional yet im going to host all of my designs across all of the POD companies I am apart of to maybe bring me in some organic sales. ALSO can anyone help me get an invite into the amazon merch program! I have been waiting MONTHS.

So totals as of 12:05pm EST are still

    + 258.83

Hustle & Grind ... Awesome journey. Sounds like you're off to a great start.

Wondering, why do you think you need both a WP site and shopify? Is the WP site for your web design?

So this is my thought process on how ill setup my "network"
    unnamed.jpg
All social media accounts will drive traffic to my main brand website. The brand website will contain articles and such related to things going on in my niche, obviously will use social media to promote this content. and within this content potentially "sell" my products with links over to my shop.brand.com. I was also planning on providing some sort of newsletter to my readers to build a email list to further promote my products. I am constantly thinking of new ways to twist my methods around and keep a notebook around to write it down when something pops into my head. I plan on testing all of these once my foundation has been built. If that makes sense

Gotcha. But...you can use shopify for articles to. If your niche is large and you decide to move in a different direction, it makes since to have this Brand.com property. Either way, you've got it right, test and see what works for your market.

    Update 2/16

Alright guys so not too much has changed. Had some running around to do. Took my bestfriend and someone who represents my brand locally to purchase a ultra clean Nissan s14 for any car folks in here. Which can be a good thing for me. I plan on blowing the dust off my DSLR and write my first large article for the brand website. When im writing my content i plan only having extremely meaningful articles something that either people would love to read or something people feel they have to read. I dont want my site filled with any "fluff".

I fucked up with the hosting plan i purchased through hostgator so at the moment im waiting on there customer support to help me remedy that situation. I am going to continue building the site offline while the hosting situation is taken care of. Todays plan is to add content to my webdesign job as well as look into any SEO optimization i can do. I also need to setup the skeleton of the webstore for my client. If i still have time in the night I may take it easy and just practice my graphics and attack the Brand website and webstore tomorrow.

We did get some money into our paypal though! Redbubble set over my first payment. It was quite small but its awesome seeing money come in from hard work. I also have another payment that should hit my account today or tomorrow from Teepublic that is a little more. I am going to use this money to start testing fb ads.

Also I am still looking for a amazon merch account if anyone can help me out!

And here is the follower update on my social media accounts. I wouldnt expect much here right now as ive been mostly focusing my time on building the website and store

Instagram - 13416 Insta has seemed easy for me. While my engagement rate could use some a little help its not terrible and gaining followers is uber easy with a well setup FL project.

Tumblr - 9166 My tumblr follower growth is all organic I dont do much of anything other then schedule posts with my tumblr as the source. Ive had a few viral posts reaching 3-5k notes that have jumped my follower count up over the years. I started this tumblr back in 2014 and have steadily been posting on and off on it. This is where my brand began.

Facebook - 81 So facebook is eluding me. Back in the day ive built a few FB pages but for some reason this one will not grow AT ALL. I guess ill have to spend some money on some facebook campaigns to get this one going. Any advice would be awesome

Twitter - 476 This one I rarely do anything with. It gets content through my tumblr as there linked together.

    Money
+7.26$ Redbubble - A few of my first tshirt designs have sold organically on both rebubble and teepublic. i never promoted these. maybe thats the sign of a good design?

    Total
    +266.09$

Hey everyone. I'd just like to say I'm still doing this! Life changes and things happen so I had to slow down. Not by much but as of recently I'm full swing.

I launched my brand website and have landed a few awesome dropshipping deals. I've also made a few sales but not many. This had me in a rut for a little bit. I didn't stop doing what I was doing which was building my social profiles and adding and tweaking my site.

Up until just now I've semi doubted my niche and the ability to actually "twist" a method that isn't already being used. But I think I may have a very very good idea to generate leads.

In my niche people absolutely LOVE submitted photos (everyone's a photographer now a day). This is awesome for me as I get daily submissions and when I make a text post asking for pictures I get TONS (I ussually do themed requests) I didn't see how this could be of use to me other then giving me free content until now.

My plan is to setup a email auto responder so every time some emails me a photo submission it will send them a optin to an email list. I'm going to do tests on the opt in to try and make it convert by trying out different "offers" for opting in (like a coupon code, or a free keychain they pay shipping, etc) using this email list I'll start preparing and testing a few email templates promoting different products related to my brand.

I'm hoping that having my customers optin will provide me with a good converting audience. Which will distinguish between the people that are going to spend money and those that won't.

This is the plan anyway. If anyone sees any flaws please let me know. I'll be sure to update you guys once things are rolling

Good luck. I quit the car business (management, sales, repossessions) 4.5 years ago to do IM full time and I've never looked back. I make exponentially more than I did then without all the stress. My only advice is don't get complacent once you start earning well. Income sources can dry up in IM and you need to have multiple streams to survive and never have to go back to a day job.
