Hey guys! So little background on me, I am in my early twenties and have been working as a mechanic for the past 5 years of my life but have always dabbled in IM and the general idea of being a entrepreneur has fascinated me for sometime. My last day job was actually my "dream day job" our shop was quite big in the euro performance automotive market and I got to work on some killer cars. All good things come to a end I suppose and that's how I ended up here again.

So boring stuff over here is what I have been doing to progress my IM career over the past month I haven't worked a traditional job. Me and my old boss worked out a contract for me to rebuild the shops website and web store. This will land me 1500$ once completed. I also have been building a Instagram account for awhile now that has 13.4k followers with decent engagement as well as a Tumblr account for the same brand with 9k followers. My plan is to grow this brand and drop ship items people in my niche often purchase.

    My skills include
    -Web design experience
    -Graphic design experience
    -Great networking skills

I will be using my graphic design abilities to create t shirts and other prints to sell to my audience. Combined with drop shipping other items I plan to make this my "hands free income" eventually paying someone else to do my designing and account management. I also plan on growing my web design portfolio by selling websites to local business. I'm going to document all money made and spent for these businesses here as well as write about what methods ill be trying to drive to my sites.

+ 3.13$ Sold 1 Tshirt through one of my POD sites im using
    + 363.82$ 1/4 payment for the website i'm designing

    - 62.00$ Purchased a premium theme off theme forest
+ 10.00$ Close friend wants to join in with me and gave me some money to test some ads
    - 12.17$ Purchased a domain for my brand
    - 29.00$ Shopify Plan
    - 14.95$ Hosting

    Total: +258.83

My goal for 2017 is to reach 50,000$ made through internet marketing
First goal id like to achieve is 10$ a day from my brand hopefully by the end of march

I may have forgot somethings so I will be reading over this and probably editing in the next few hours as right this second I am about to leave to have a meeting with my webdesign client.

    Thanks for reading everyone!

Good luck on your journey, mate! Sounds interesting and if you manage it well, it should end up being successful. I feel the two key parts that you need to get right is getting some interested eyeball on your shop and making sure your designs are top-notch. Sounds like you've gotten some valuable experience at your day job, so I bet you'll reach your goals.

You're certainly ambitious. Best of luck on your journey.

Just remember, in business things are always more difficult and more expensive than they seem at first. The people who survive and thrive are the ones who adapt to the curve balls that are constantly thrown at them.

Thanks everyone, I do want to clear up that I did not quit my job to do this just things lined up as soon as it happened. I do value the experience I gained at my job even though it was laboring working on cars 6 days a week it gave me a incredible work ethic and ability to fix problems ( Anyone thats been a mechanic knows exactly what im talking about) I also gained some very good friends around the industry that will definitely help me out in my future. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask!

I guess I misunderstood you then. I though your former job was related to design somehow as well.

This is looks promising, you have the traffic source and well designed t-shirt. If you can pick the right niche and the design looks right, you will generate a sales. Good luck!

Don't Forget Cafe Press. If they are in your country they're a great way to offer a lot of custom design items for free. Or, since you're euro autos, it is a great way to sell to US motor fans

Great post. Do something you like and you will never get tired. I'm hoping you reach your goal bro. I'm also into internet marketing and I'm at the stage of experimenting things that might work for me. I'm still a student so I'm trying to make money with 0 money investment and only time. Best of luck to the both of us.

I've never seen this site before! Bookmarked and will definitely look into this. Thanks man!

What trade did you practice if you don't mind me asking? things are going well. Slow as i'm still transitioning into this.

That's how I started as well. I learned to sell myself to people and that is how I landed my first web design job with my old employer. which will give me a good starting point to invest with! Good luck man it WILL work out if we both try as hard as it takes to make it!
