I own the name obamaisthepresident.com, what to do with it?

If you had got this domain earlier, you could have banked pretty hard. But as mentioned, a forum is a damn good idea. Fill it up with automated content as well.

for real though... make it a forum. All the homepage diggs for that day and probably a week will be about who won. It would not be hard at all for you to get on digg homepage with a simple post like Barack obama won, talk about it at barackisthe*president.com. You get a crazy amount of traffic from being top on digg and you can monetize forums like no other.
 
u could actually build a great community if built and marketed just right!
 
Hell hit up U Tube even snag a couple debate vids throw a watermark on it as well and blast it to diff vid sites as well as on your blog. Good Job on the domain name!!
 
I would also suggest getting the .info and .org as they are still available, might as well capitalize on all of them.
 
irinareviews I really don't think it matters if it was a PM or not. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there registering many combinations with the name obama in it. I picked up a few good ones myself.

Not exactly, ICANN rules have changed a lot this last few months. Unless he is trying to make money on his name they can't do shit and he owns the domain..

But tbh i dont see anything fancy about it...there are wayy too many domains and this is just a normal domain like many others..

I must say if someone likes it he/she will pay you...

See what the most popular videos are on foxnews, msnbc, cnn, drudge, huffington post, politico, and factcheck websites... Watermark them with your domain name and post them on youtube and include your link with a 'find out more' type of marketing. Paraphrase some articles on popular blogs like politico, drudge, and huffington using a lot of industry shorthand for SEO(GOP = republicans, Dems = Democrat, ect.) ... Don't use purely copy and pasted scrape content. Just read the opinion and news blogs, cut through the bullshit, and post something easy to read, slanted towards whatever your biased to. throw some technorati tags on there.

The site looks good, however I would highly suggest getting a forum or make it a social network as I think you could sustain a steady stream of traffic and push a lot more ads. You should be able to get some decent paying advertisers on there.

Your visitors will be euphoric if he wins and you should be able to sell:

Many more americans are going to be broke, laid off, and unemployed within the next 2 years. 2x the rate that it is now. If you think it is so bad now, just wait 2 years....

Enough of my Rant.... Get a forum up - try vBulletin and get AdManagement plugin for it. Sell some Obama Merchandise (hats, tees, mugs, etc....) or affiliate with a site that does.

guess within the last 24 hours the value of your domain has just increased dramtically!

sell merch would be the easiest way, through an aff so theres no outlay. Should be easy money as its all targetted traffic!

lol Obama Merchandise, i've owned blackpresident.co.uk for some months aint doing nothing with it searched the keyword "black president" in google and seen "tm" on it in google keywords, does that mean its been trademarked?

I am not how valuable this domain is. It doesn't even rank high for the exact phrase "obama is the president"

Or for which keywords does it rank ..?
